What's new

The losing streak could be what we needed

Unlikely the FO makes any changes. It sure feels like a steep slippery slope ahead of us.

I chose to believe the front office will make changes and will go all in. We are a few changes away, let's not have Conley or Davis cost us and Bradley isn't the answer.

Either this or we should be questioning DL's ability to lead this team long term. We had two summer windows in a row and he completely blew it

We’re 7th in scoring margin and just haven’t been very good on the road. Not too worried but we def seem fatally flawed.

This. We could at least hope Rubio and Crowder to go off and have a good shooting night last year. No way can we hope Bojan niang Conley or Joe to all of a sudden turn themselves into lockdown defender on any night

huh?

Lol we were just barely the hottest team in the league for over a month. We go on a mini losing streak against teams we should've beaten and suddenly it's all falling apart. Some of you are brand new to basketball(sports in general) apparently but let me educate you. Losing streaks happen to pretty much every single team; every single year. It happens. Teams always go through ups and downs, it's natural.

Well the truth is we had that winning streak against pretty weak opposition. Yeah teams lose games, but I think that in order to make a good push in the playoffs we may need to make one final move during midseason evaluations.

I kind of agree.

This roster has needed an overhaul since opening night and got about 65% there with some moves made in December. Thumping on worse teams doesn’t prove that the Jazz were set for the playoffs.

The big depth has been an issue since the offseason and continues to be the most glaring issue with the roster. Niang and Bradley are good depth pieces but they shouldn’t be in the rotation of a contender.

What this team really needs off the bench is Ben Wallace and Ron Artest. What are those guys up to right now?

Look what the losing streak has done for me... is kind of just changed my perspective. We only lost one game we shouldn't have imo and that was the Houston game... at home with rest and they had 3 of their top 4 guys gone... that's a bad loss.

San Antonio away is not a game I'm expecting to win...Denver on the back end of a back to back is a schedule loss... especially if Jokic is making his outside shots.

But my current perspective is that this team is good, but not contender good... gonna try and watch with those expectations going forward.

I doubt we see big changes at the deadline... we can make a minor deal involving Ed... or a monster deal with Mike and I really don't see us making the monster deal. I am fully prepared for this to be the team more or less... GMs generally don't change their direction with a few loses in a row.
