Surprising score in the Spain game. No Gortat for Poland. Wonder why he could not get insurance when most other NBA players were able to. Perhaps a wake up game for them. To much talent to win by 5 points against Poland.

I'm watching it too and it is obvious that GBR is not getting the calls that they should. I have not seen anything from our friend Valanciunas yet. I wonder if he will play at all.

hosts always get some special treatment from refs... remember Turkey-Serbia semifinal last year in WC;)?

u know,believe it or not,i was expecting this comment and i was expecting it from you,noone else,lol.ofcourse hosts allways get special treatment,but not at this stage,and not against GB.about serbia game,we won 7 games with huge marginals,,and than serbia game, the yes we get that call at the last second,but if you look at the whole game,no advantage calls for turkey.in europa u never get that kind of calls against serbia and greece,,they are the basketball mafia,they have all kinds of connections in Fiba,and they allways get the calls(including club games)
 
and I am not defending refs ( that is the most difficult job to do in sports - to be a ref)... it is everywhere ( football, basketball, you name it) host team has advantage playing at home not only because of their fans and supporters but because refs crack under pressure. Simple.
 
Lithuania's front line is crowded with veterans, I doubt JV will see many minutes in close games unless some injuries or foul problem will happen.
 
Lithuania will need everykind of help to achieve something in this tournament. 34 year old Jasikevicius still best player in this team.
 
G.Britain with B.Gordon will be quite dangerous team in Olympics. I am impressed - Deng alone made that team very solid.

problem is they dont have any support from the bench,,only 4 players scored,if they had 2-3 good back ups,they would have the potential to beat any team
