TURKEY-FRANCE : FIirst game of the 2nd round

Tunceri does it again. He was the brilliant chucker against Poland as well. How many times does it take. I know if you're a shooter, you keep shooting, but Turkey's general approach to its offense has to change, or it's over. That is all.

When up against 5 seconds, you might as well just risk the turnover, but you get it out of bounds.
 
anyway france doesnt look like they r gonna be champions. My favourite is still Spain, its too bad that we couldnt grab this win, now its too hard to come back, lithuania has fixture advantage

without the refs help i think they will go 0/3,,if spain wins over germany,and we win over germany,thats good enough,cause we def. gonna lose against serbia

If you watched him play last year you would have had completely differnt idea, and he wasnt that bad today, but he sucked this tournament in general. He just cant shoot anymore. If we had a guard like ridnour, we could beat France easily. You cant be a contender without a quality guard if you dont have kobe or something

Then lithuania will win against germany too, and they have advantage over us, france is already qualified, they have 3 wins now, we have 1, spain 2, germany 0, lithuania serbia 1. One game is not enough, we gotta win both. They will have the referee and home court advantage in last game against a clueless germany.
 
Hedo bricking 3s didn't help at all. Just be glad TP couldn't hit a 3 either or the end wouldn't have been close at all
 
im hoping for;

lithuania 0/3
germany 1/3 win over lithuania lose against turkey
turkey 1/3 lose against serbia,win over germany

france,spain,serbia in firt 3 spots,we take the fourth place over germany and lithuania

If we didnt get 6 pts in at the last min of 3rd quarter, the difference wouldnt go up so high neither. You cant say if in basketball, the game is determined by too little details, we could have hit a 3 in the last min if we didnt do that stupid mistake and win in ot while we didnt play so well. Anyway France deserved it but i dont think they are gonna be champions, they were too clueless last few mins, the game was almost slipping out of their hands. I just think, Turkey should do whatever it takes and try to get 2 wins because we have a group of good players, only missing thing is a legit pg.
 
Dangit I missed the game. Did Kanter play even 20 minutes? Is there a post listing the date and time of all the second round games.

I have concerns about his ability to defend NBA wings and he sure as hell can't play the 4. But he's a really skilled player with a great feel for the game. I could see him having a nice career in the NBA or having a great one in Europe.
 
he played 10 mins, scored 4 points, he wont get too many min after this point unless Asik gets into foul trouble

no he is not a 4, he is a SF but can play 2 and sometimes even 1. Yeah he needs to bulk up, but he is very young and doesnt hesitate to take responsibility
