2020 Presidential election

Maybe I missed something. How did they sabotage things? This isn’t about the ‘bad tests’ is it or ‘no ammo’?

they hope we forget the details. Details like how russia intervened on Trump’s behalf in 2016. Which the Obama administration levied punishment over. Which is why Flynn telling Russian ambassador Sergei Kisyliak to relax and not react to the Obama punishments pretty damning. It undermined our government’s reaction to a Russian attack. They want you to forget that Flynn then lied to the FBI about these contacts.

Don’t want to raise the FBI’s suspicion? Then Don’t tell Russia’s ambassador to ignore American sanctions before your government has even been sworn in.
Don’t want to be charged with felonies? Then don’t lie about these contacts when the FBI asks you about them. And then after pleading guilty to the special counsel, don’t then go back on the plea and prevent his investigation from progressing.
As the Mueller report said, trump was not exonerated. Had traitors like flynn cooperated, Trump may not still be in office.

Of course, Trumpers like @Heathme hope that you’re as stupid as they are and forget the origins of the entire Russian investigation.

Flynn was one of the first and highest-ranking Trump aides to plead guilty and cooperate with Mueller’s investigation. He pleaded guilty in December 2017 to making false statements about his contacts with Russia’s ambassador to the United States before Trump had taken office and as the FBI was attempting to ascertain whether anyone in Trump’s campaign had coordinated with Russia to influence the election’s outcome.

Isn’t it ironic? The chances of republicans maintaining control of the White House and certainly the senate would’ve been greatly increased had they voted to convict. It’s only fitting that Trump is going to take them down with him after they blew their chance to rid themselves of this curse.

Read up on #obamagate.

Just spent about ten minutes reading on it and a few things pop up:

1. I wish we would stop ending every conspiracy with the word 'gate'
2. Articles and tweets that intentionally drum up racism and any association with things such as 'Barack Hussein Obama' as being unamerican things and therefore bad automatically get their tabs closed out quickly
3. I don't think Trump should be worried about the decorum of an ex-President speaking out considering he's been slamming and dredging everyone through the gutter for years
4. When someone tells you that something is the biggest political crime in history by far, it's probably not
5. Concerned that charges were dropped by appointees of Trump who have political motivations themselves. Doesn't seem like a very independent branch to me when you get to choose who's who at the table

As for the latter point, I say that regardless of administration. The three branches of government all regularly collude on all matters vs. act as sovereign entities. Just another reason that Washington is forever broken and the swamp is alive and thriving.

I see that you only get your news from liberal sites and commentators...

Any website that doesn't post glowing reviews of everything the administration touches is gold doesn't mean it's liberal. I actually take the time and read publications of many viewpoints and formulate my own from those.

And the fact that my numbered points weren't debated other than simply the above suggest that my approach is not an incorrect one.

you should scroll down through the thread. That picture is the most normal.
I did a little scrolling and there were some bad ones no doubt. And trump is a scummy perv so that's not surprising.
I just thought that first one was fine.

These conspiracies make no sense.

1. If the FBI Wanted to help Obama/Clinton, why would they announce the re-opening of the clinton probe just weeks away from the election and not announce their counter-intelligence investigation into trump?

2. If the FBI wanted to tank Trump, why wouldn’t they have spiked the Clinton investigation and announced from the rooftops their investigation of Trump?

3. If Obama was running the FBI (he wasn’t) why didn’t he announce from the rooftops about Flynn’s lying to the FBI about his Russian contacts and thus leaving him to vulnerable blackmail?

4. If Comey was really just an Obama puppet, why did Trump keep him on for a few months? Seems pretty idiotic on Donald’s part.

Why was it until Comey failed to pledge loyalty to Trump and refused to publicly clear his name from the investigation did he fire him?

5. If Flynn was really innocent and was merely a victim of Obama/Comey/Clinton, why did Trump Fire Flynn? Why didn’t he just keep him on in his cabinet?

6. If Barr really is acting rightly, why have 2,000 DOJ Prosecutors signed a complaint about him?

I know you’re too stupid to actually respond to these questions. But the rest of this board merely needs to ask basic questions to Themselves about this case and it’s pretty obvious that these conspiracies are nothing more than *** gas coming from right wingers desperate to take attention away from the pandemic.

This program "Rising" by The Hill has been progressive, vocally supporting Bernie Sanders for the past year. I'll just leave this here.

I assume you are outraged about North Carolina and Wisconsin.

It’s weird how the right suddenly has revolted against mail-in ballots. If I remember correctly, Florida was one of the first states to do so. It was believed at the time that it would help the state become more republican because their older citizens would be able to vote easier. I think it’s probably worked.

Utah for example is a state that has had mail-in ballots for years. Utah isn’t exactly an urban or liberal state. I personally enjoy voting from the comforts of my own home where I can research candidates and judges at my leisure.

Again, if I remember correctly, Kris Kobach early on headed w committee to find voting fraud in states so that Donald could proclaim validity to his claim that he had actually, “won the popular vote.” The committee didn’t find anything and I believe subsequent investigations have only found a handful of cases, all Republican.

So it’s almost as if these voting fraud concerns lack genuine concern over fraud. It’s almost as if Republicans purposely want to suppress the vote in the fall to help Donald win. Even if it means subjecting by their own voters to being exposed to a deadly virus.
