Here is an article from SLAM about Jeremy Evans:

Also, Brian T. Smith: Jazz's Jeremy Evans now being represented by agent Mark Bartelstein. Twitter

Is that good or bad for him remaining a part of Utah? Mark Bartelstein is a good agent with high profile clients like Granger and David Lee, but the thing that I am uncomfortable with about him is that he talks to the press more than any other agent. He is always quoted on hoopshype.com. Sometimes he is negotiatiing in the press. Other times he just talks a lot, giving good nuggets of information. For Utah, who is notoriously a secret organization, I am wondering how will Bartelstein and O'Connor will work come negotiation time.

It's nice to know not all of his art is oddly proportioned portraits of famous people. Also of note, he has been working on confidence in his jumper which is good to hear.

"Utah puzzled experts by selecting the unheralded forward out of Western Kentucky with 55th pick of the 2010 Draft."

--> How can you really puzzle anyone with the 55th pick in the draft??

Who knows, maybe the 3rd piece of the wing rotation will be Jeremy Evans. Evans at SF, Burks at SG and Hayward who can play both spots. And CJ, of course, until KOC can trade his expiring contract.

Because he would help spread the defenses with his outstanding shooting range, right?
He's supposed to have a decent jumpshot. He was just playing out of position in college and really not asked to show that his rookie season. We'll see. At worst, I'll bet he has the same range as AK. But at least Jeremy can also finish around the rim. AK would just throw the shot up in the air and hope for a foul call. After all, what referee would believe you could miss a shot that badly if you had not been fouled.

No because he is quicker than Millsap and like has already been mentioned he has a decent jumpshot that he has been spending a lot of time on this summer. I think that he will be as big a surprise for this team as anyone.

umm... CJ Miles expiring contract? Really? Its for like $3 million dollars. Why would the Jazz want to get rid of it, its not going to free up that much room and there aren't many better players that you'll get for cheaper.

A decent jump shot? He might have a decent jump shot, we have yet to see him really attempt many (any?) jumpers in game so I don't know how you can say that. If I had too choose between the two as who I wanted my backup SF to be, I would choose Millsap 10/10 times.

I cannot even imagine how this could be remotely debatable.
