What's new

Abraham Lincoln Trump

Seven Score and 15 years ago
I was the saviour of black people
I gave them their freedom
I removed their shackles
And gave them the right to vote

Today, in my reincarnated form
I again am releasing them
From a different kind of bondage
Poverty

But for those who break the law
For those oppose the police
For those wreck violence on businesses
For those who don't support me
I will put my knee on their necks
Until they can no longer breathe

Obey me and I will be your servant
Otherwise, face the consequences

Sieg Heil, Abraham Lincoln Trump

I suggest when you have an idea like this you get someone else to write 4 you.

I was going to put it on FB, but then I wouldn't be anonymous, so I would try it out here first. I thought it was funny, maybe in a bad way. But it didn't seem that Trump understood Biden was being sarcastic. I thought that was funny.

I was just messing with you... based on a previous username.

What happened to Vinylone? Are you him?
no

I've been Gameface since 2008. I switched to Bulletproof for a bit then back to Gameface.

Since you're playing coy I won't actually mention your previous username.

Vinylone drifted away. He came back for a second but it didn't last long. He's moved on with life, I'd assume.

I'm not being coy. You're right. I got into it with One Brow. It's so long ago I forgot exactly when, so I changed names. I actually was complimenting him but he wouldn't accept it because I thought he was harassing me through his infamous Alt but he insisted he wasn't that Alt. Vinyone actually agreed with me. It's over now and I have gotten over it. It was dumb to get upset about it.

I did not mean to start this discussion at all. 100% AT ALL.

wait...... OB had an infamous alt?

No. Don't try to tell it was Ain't.

OB doesn't have the flexibility to do an alt. OB was straight up, that's all he can do.

I wasn't sure Biden had the wit to be sarcastic like that. More like he really is that deep in his confusion he believed, for a transient neurological misfiring, that it was Lincoln he was talking to,.

No doubt his handlers handed him that line for laughs, picking up on Trump's Stump Speech about how he's done more for the Blacks than any President except Lincoln.

Actually, Lincoln was a sort of Mormon sort of frontier racist. The Mormons didn't believe in slavery at all, and made their slaveholding converts free their slaves before being baptized. Lincoln was a Biblical sort of believer who was absolutely abolitionist. The Mormons believed the natives were a chosen people, Lincoln remarked about his service in the Blackhawk war with a sort of view that justified the frontier push and didn't acknowledge the basic humanity of the natives.

Joseph Smith recommended the federal government should buy all the slaves and set them free. At a fair, taxpayer-swubsized generous price. That would have been a good deal, as good as any Trump deal. Smith was pragmatic enough for the time to also recommend that the blacks be given a State of their own, like the Cherokees/Indians in Oklahoma I suppose.

Lincoln was noticed by Eastern bankers who were in cahoots with British bankers in a plan to divide the country. To do that, they needed a stupid redneck with sufficiently inflammatory rhetoric to drive the South into Secession. They figured they could just manipulate the backwoods rube and get their split without much trouble.

But it turned out the backwoods rube could at least see that unless the States could survive as one country, they'd be unable to exert any further expansion, and maybe not even survive. A plum ripe to be plucked by the British.

It was a close call, but we not only owe Lincoln for our nation and our liberty, but for our national destiny as a world class leader.

And yes, e=m. the poem is pretty bad.

You need to get the news from somewhere else. CNN isn't giving you any facts.

Brietbart, maybe.

I think Ain'tnuthin became Ain't just a few months before I was dragged over here from Tribtalk. Ain't and OB did huge debates on time travel, stuff like that. Ain't introduced me to a physicist in Illinois who also was a skeptic on that subject.

Ain't and I also played on that short-lived site taken over by one of our own.

I have sometimes tried to do the Ebonic lingo, but Ain't was pretty good at it. He loved that old southern blues and literally looked at the world through hobo eyes.

I think he drove to the levy in his chevy, and saw it was as dry as JFC, and just took the last train for the coast.
