#Lockewatch is dead. Woodard was never the target.
Leading scorer in the ACC. Dropped 27 on UNC in his last game.So another “smooth” scorer whose skill may never translate...

And here's the list of leading scorers in ACC by year. How many of them are still in this league right now? The guy is basically a Clarkson insurance who has the potential to be a bench scorer, nothing more. He does nothing to address our current deficiency on the wings
You weren't getting a guy that would address our major needs in the second round of a crappy draft. You are going to get depth. Hopefully somebody that will stick in the League.![]()

6'6 with 6'9 wingspan Trey Burke in second round is a steal.Hughes reminds me of Trey Burke. Meh.
We need 3D wings and this year's draft is loaded with them...You weren't getting a guy that would address our major needs in the second round of a crappy draft. You are going to get depth. Hopefully somebody that will stick in the League.
That's what Elijah is, no? He's not a starting lockdown defender but his offense will translate. He gets a block a game, so he isn't allergic to defending. . .We need 3D wings and this year's draft is loaded with them...
Hughes is a crafty finisher in the lane but still had major problems scoring inside against long, athletic defenders. Here's a scouting report on him: https://www.nbcsports.com/philadelp...file-elijah-hughes-syracuse-basketball-sixers
A 6'6 Trey Burke is a pretty good player. . .
struggling against size and strength is like the 99% killer for those "smooth" and "skilled" NCAA scoring legendsHe looks like a decent player until you get him in the NBA and realize he's just not that good and doesn't play defense. I'm probably doing Trey a disservice here because I don't see Hughes having the type of games that Trey had.
You notice how Hughes celebrates after every basket? Hope I'm wrong but I'm not excited.
