Just remember that I’m on your side here. I’ve become basically a One Note Artist on this topic.I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that when your ENTIRE defensive philosophy hinges on one guy protecting the rim, dragging him away from the rim causes a cascade of foreseeable collapse.
Conley
Clarkson
Mitchell
O'Neale
Ingles
Bogdanovic
Favors
Gobert
A fair bit of talent there. No one new to integrate really; should be a fun team to watch. Unfortunately, still at least one piece away from contending.
It’s too bad we can’t afford KDunn. I think him or Harrison would be a nice final piece. Adds some defense and athletic youth. Would make for a good balanced off season minus draft night embarrassment.

But have burned every conceivable asset to acquire one.Like the Jazz are a deep, veteran team that's one player away from truly contending.
Lets bring Jae back.Conley
Clarkson
Mitchell

It's not entirely clear to me why that's necessarily out of the question. Presumably, you can get either of those guys with the BAE, and the Favs and JC contracts could be structured such that there's plenty of room under the apron to use it.It’s too bad we can’t afford KDunn. I think the BAE is automatically counted toward the salary cap until it's used ot renounced, similar to the MLE. That's why they are saying we are in the tax. If we don't use it and renounce it, we are probably under? Not sure... if someone can confirm, please do so...It's not entirely clear to me why that's necessarily out of the question. At least two people, including David Locke, are reporting that the Jazz are already in the Luxury Tax, so perhaps the Favs and JC contracts have been structured to give the Jazz less flexibility this season. Although if the Jazz are already in the LT they might as well spend up to the apron, so maybe the BAE is in play (??).

I heard Locke say some **** today that would give you an aneurism. Just know we have learned nothing and every move we have made is so we can play the same way for 48 minutes. Don’t get your hopes up for a change. Like we have literally learned nothing.Just remember that I’m on your side here. I’ve become basically a One Note Artist on this topic.
I have run some math and if we are going to field a 15 man roster we don’t have room under the apron to comfortably use the BAE. I could be wrong but I’m 70% sure.I think the BAE is automatically counted toward the salary cap until it's used ot renounced, similar to the MLE. That's why they are saying we are in the tax. So besides that the Jazz lost a playoff series because they refused to make any adjustments until the closing minutes of a seven game series, THE NUMBER ONE SEED IN THE LEAGUE LOST FOR THE SAME REASON.I heard Locke say some **** today that would give you an aneurism. Nah man wait until Favs shuts down Jamal Murray and we get to the second round... the second round is where titles are won!I took a nap. Woke up and all of the money was gone on pretty damn big contracts to run back a 2019/2020 hybrid team.
On one hand the team should be more lineup flexible and talented than either of those last two teams, and I’m interested to see how they look.
On the other hand, it’s impossible to take this team seriously as a legit contender. And all of the moves made this week really don’t seem to make sense together. And honestly the random Jazzfan user could have probably come up with an offseason outcome that was more interesting and better focused on our actual needs.
Hard to read what the FOs actual goals are plans are right now. Really hope they have a master plan of some kind.
It'll depend (at least in part) on how the Favs and JC contracts are structured.I think the BAE is automatically counted toward the salary cap until it's used ot renounced, similar to the MLE. Time is a flat circle. So besides that the Jazz lost a playoff series because they refused to make any adjustments until the closing minutes of a seven game series, THE NUMBER ONE SEED IN THE LEAGUE LOST FOR THE SAME REASON.
Teams that strategize this way are like a 19th century army marching into a 20th century battle.

After all the dumbassery this offseason I’d still call it success if we signed Shaq Harrison to a minimum deal. If he can’t get better than that he should hire me as an agent.
