What's new

2020 Free Agency Thread

When all is said and done, the reality is that we got better this offseason. We’ve patched some big weaknesses. With another year of continuity of three key new guys (JC, MC, and BB), plus getting BB back, we’re going to be a lot better and a lot deeper.

But good, better, and best. Good is the enemy of great. We robbed ourselves of ‘best’ to be in the justifiable position of exclaiming ‘good.’

That's a lot

Giving a Morris that much would terrify me.
Isn't it actually Hayward sweating out an Ainge decision? He can only go where he wants (Indy, apparently) if Ainge accepts the S&T
both of them should sweat and end sadly.

Or goes to New York so he can fail on the worlds biggest stage.
There are some silver linings there... but he’s get paid. I’d like him to come back to Vivint on a crappy team for the mid-level, knowing he could have been playing for us still that year at, what, $40M?

That would be great, but better than that would be him being hated by NYC fans, IMO.

Denver played how many PG, SG, SF and PF to beat us? How many of those could Favors guard?

Our defense was much better with favors here, so a lot. He's great so guarding PFs. He's also a very good big at getting switched onto wings. He also helps shut down the paint so our wings can be more aggressive. He's also a good defensive leader. He tells people what to do. He started being good at that when hayward started calling the offense.
