On a related note, I understand time is money for truckers, but does the semi going 65.5 MPH really need to pass the semi going 64.75 MPH at the exact moment I’m 10 yards behind in the next lane going 85 MPH?

Ha ha, cuts off the passenger car going 90 off by taking a hard swerve into their lane but then takes about 10 minutes to actually get past the truck it is passing. And often times just gives up and slows down and gets right back behind the truck they were going to pass. Happens so often it has to be taught in their training.
 
Changing the momentum of a big truck is a bear, and costs a lot of fuel. So I get why they want to keep moving at their current speed even if it is only slightly higher than the guy in front of them. Still that is one of the most irritating things you can encounter on a highway.
 
Stores "selling" Christmas/Easter/whatever way before the actual date. Last year my local store was selling Halloween products from the end of September and something like a week before 31 October all those articles were already put somewhere aside and Christmas things were already on display. Kills the magic and anticipation of it.
 
Fire alarms batteries running out in the middle of the night in a location on the ceiling thats basically impossible to get to.

Whats just as bad and contributes to your pet peeve is people purchasing those products way early. If there wasnt demand then the stores wouldnt put put the supply.

Home Depot has had their Christmas trees out for two weeks. Pisses me off.

While some people buy early, I think the larger effect for the stores is the in-person advertising.
 
My wife leaves the TV remotes on my side of the bed. It's very annoying (mostly because I would prefer to have no TV on at all). I have been known to hide them once or twice when she does that.

My six year old carries it around with him. We’ll randomly find it in his bedroom, or in a drawer in the bathroom. We even found it out on the back deck once.

Not stupid at all. I hate this lady with a true passion. Our school drop off is U shaped with 2 lanes. The right lane is drop off and pick up. Meaning you pull up, your kids hop out onto the sidewalk then you drive off. The left lane is a thew lane. You drive through the U to get out of the parking lot. There is on god damned bitch lady that every single morning, she drops her kid off and sits in the drop off lane until the bell rings and her kid goes into the school This makes it so much more difficult for anyone else to get in line and drop their kids off. Basically just a monkey wrench in an otherwise solid system. I hate her so so much. I call her terrible names every morning. My kids now hate her too. To top things off she also has 3 dumb *** **** head dogs in the car with her every morning. God I hope her car blows up Mafia hit style one of these mornings.

Is there anyone outside assisting with the traffic that you could alert to the situation? If not, I'd tell the school itself. From what you've described the lady is creating an unsafe situation, not just an unpleasant one.

Yeah, parents now just pull up in the drive through lane and their kids get out and run across the lanes because this stupid bitch is just chilling out ****ing everything up for everyone else. It's absolutely creating a dangerous situation for everyone else. I'm going to get out, knock on her window, and tell her to park in the ****ing parking lot if she wants to make sure her dumb *** kid makes it into the building. If she pulled up to the end it might be ok but she parks like right at the entrance so it literally screws up the entire system,

Every school has one of those. My kids school sends out an email like once a month “reminding” parents how the drop off is supposed to work. There are always those special people who ignore the rules.
