Dipping into the Christmas eggnog a little heavy?Miye Oni clearly surpasses O'Neale this year. Becomes successor to Joe Ingles and is a starter by the end of the season.

He's getting minutes for sureI'm not as high on Royce as most Jazz fans and I think his defense is overrated. Having said that, it takes a lot for Quin to deviate from his rotation so I just don't see it happening. I seriously doubt Oni even gets on the floor when everyone is healthy until garbage time.
He's getting minutes for sure
I just don't see where the minutes come from. He's basically going to be in a fight with Morgan and Shaq to see who ends up being the 10th, 11th and 12th man on the roster, and Quin usually goes with a 9 man rotation. He'll get minutes when guys are out but I just don't see it when everyone is healthy.
I don't think it's unreasonable to say those guys are competing with Niang for the 9th slot, but the top 8 seem pretty clear and I'd be surprised if any of them crack it.
Miye Oni next Kawhi. Heard it here first
Conley gave us nothing on defense. Royce was worse than expected but at least made Murray work for it.O NEALE is overrated by many. He should be end of the rotation guy at most. Spot filler/starter when needed due to injury.
He got exposed on defence in the playoffs. Dude gave us nothing
Would you settle for Kentavious Caldwell-Pope?
Yep. He made Murray almost break a sweat tearing the team apart to the tune of dual 50-point games. And he almost was out of breath laughing so hard at our excuse for a defense. I remember him just giggling running back on defense. But boy O'neal made him work for those giggles.Conley gave us nothing on defense. Royce was worse than expected but at least made Murray work for it.
