A very good

Lineup for the Jazz, their no pushover for sure. Interesting to see how Jalen does his first start and how he plays with Ayton. Come on Cp and gang. We’ll have to wait for Crowder maybe next game.

The offense looks horrible in that 1st quarter. Devolved into crappy isos and just bad shots. Nothing pretty out there.

I've yet to see anything that makes me excited about Jalen Smith.

With the 1st quarter finished the score is 19-15. Jazz are up.

Damn that was an UGLY quarter of basketball all around

No movement ,just everybody sits and waits someone else to create...

Horrible quarter …team looks so lost

We have got to stagger CP and Book's minutes in the regular season.

Because this is… tragic.

They need to fine Ingles for flopping all over the place.. it's getting pathetic lol

Booker better hope referees keep looking the other way every time he pushes off with his off hand.

I love how hard he ran back on defense after the Chris Paul turnover.

Joe Ingles looks like he just smokes cigarettes all off-season

I got a kick out of him talking trash to Crowder.

He is one of those guys you love when he is on your team, I think.

Bogdanovic misses a WIDE OPEN 3, and then his a step back 3 with a guy draped all over him.

I'd love for once to see Ayton just get an offensive board and go right back up strong with it. So frustrating.

Ayton 2-9. What a dope

The Suns have really dodged a few bullets there with the Ingles and Bogdanovic 3-PT misses.

I wish Booker could find more looks from 3. He has really fallen in love with the midrange game.

And why is it that it is Stix challenging Gobert on the put-back while Ayton just watches?!

lol donovan really does do the same dunk

The Jazz are moving the ball so beautifully

And we sit and watch.

Jazz are tough

and here comes the Jazz 3 pointers....

Geez do we even have an offesnive scheme

Don't hate me but the Jazz are better than the Suns.

Suns 3-4 Jazz 21-22 from the FT

This is ****ing pathetic.

You don’t close out. You don’t box out. What exactly are you doing out there, Suns?

Ayton...

The game started at 7

Well...as Jazz threatening 30 ahead

Should be enough whipping to go around.

Time for this team to quit being starstruck and get to an identity.

STOP FOULING THREE POINT SHOOTERS

I know is a preseason game . I know it is too soon. I know these games are to just experiment with what works and what not . But my eyes don’t lie – we are extremely overrated. Despite Chris Paul.
There is stuff that can’t be fixed with time , and what we have shown the last 2 games is something that we will be struggling all year.

On the plus side before the 3rd quarter the Suns were holding the Jazz to not many 3 pointer makes.

lose that 3rd by 16 points? and didn't we finish last few minutes of the 2nd on the wrong side of an 0-8 run? It is like we have about 20 minutes of good basketball a night.

Almost doubled up the Suns that quarter. Not sure why the guys refuse to box out but they sure look like they hate doing it.

Gobert has 17 boards

Jazz is playing good defense

But nobody is attacking Gobert. They are driving into him only to get the ball out again

This is killing me

Phoenix can’t make a shot, grab a rebound or avoid committing fouls

Too many plays where Carter is shooting off the dribble.

I realize to Saric but might need another athletic big for when Ayton is mailing it in like this. Vonleh comes to mind

The feed I am watching has the Jazz in-arena feed during breaks. They just did a "jazz hands" thing and showed a ton of people in the stands doing jazz hands... guess how many were not pasty?

Also, they had a half-time competition between two young girls. Aspen and Riley.

Gotta respect how Miye Oni has played against Booker.

Wow we gettin killed

azubuike knocks out Nader

Seems like Paul is going to be really really busy with the Suns playing and coaching teammates at the same time. Hope he will be having a great time

Jazz 37 FTs, Suns 11. How do you win with that disparity? Not that it was our only issue but all things being equal it is impossible.

Ayton is just playing ****** but this loss was a team effort.

Feels like there’s been at least 7 or 8 and ones for the Jazz tonight. Unreal

The reffing was fine. The Suns didn’t attack and the Jazz did. Simple as that.

The Suns lost this game for several reasons,

but boy, was it frustrating watching the Jazz shoot a million free throws. I think I got called for a foul just writing this comment.

As an honest Suns fan I think I speak for us when I say we are frauds. We have 2 Ls because we have the weakest roster in the league. Teams like the Bulls, Magic and Hornets are way better than us. This is from an honest Suns fan btw. My fanbase won’t agree but we are frauds.

Pre season. We don't need to worry about anything EXCEPT that Ayton is still playing with no heart. I can't believe the way that he plays D. He is still young but he needs to start playing tougher. Ps: despite the fact that is preseason, I think thay we are gonna miss Ricky.

Thanks for causing me depression

dawg this is more like it, suns fans were acting hella delusional, the reality is that y'all won't just be handed a playoff spot over the likes of utah and Portland. Ayton has to be better and will be better but it's the bench that will decide playoffs or not

Rut roh

Trade Deandre ayton

The ref really given JAZZ 41 FTA, absolutely Fair

25 min

2-7 FG, 0 FTA

4 PTS, 9 REB, 1 AST, 1 BLK, 1 STL

I know it's preseason, but...not great

Yeah not sure what to take away from that game. We looked very out of shape. Gotta get that together

That was not good. I know it’s only preseason but Ayton looks softer then ever.

And 1!!

There were comments in both games about Utah’s racism/whiteness. I have a hard time hearing that from a Phoenix-based fan base.

Their big beef is that Utah does not recognize the greatness of Booker. The Jazz fans on Reddit's biggest beef on Booker is that in every single Donovan Mitchell thread for his first two years in the league Phoenix fan would always break in and have to talk about how much better Booker was. It was tiring. As far I know, Jazz fans don't break into every Ja Morant or Luka thread demanding people praise Donovan Mitchell. Utah has its insecurities, but that was a whole new level.

The truth is that most Utah fans didn't care one way or another about Devin Booker, until Phoenix fan demanded that we pay homage. Screw them. And now that they added Chris Paul, screw them harder.

I recognize Booker. That bro can score from wherever he wants. Falls in love with the midrange a bit too much, though. ****ing smooth dude, doe. Swap him for Conley.... I’d be in full fever dreams of a championship

I like Booker's game... he's totally legit. Its always about winning and they haven't done that while he's there... its partly his fault but mostly the guys around him.

He's also a stat gunner... the no double teams in pickup also hurt his rep.

I'm on reddit more than this forum, and the game a couple seasons ago where Booker checked back in at the end of a blowout to try to get to 60 points also played a large part in the Jazz-Suns animosity. That did not go over well on the Jazz reddit

I think Booker is better than Mitchell. 2 years ago I'd say Mitchell's D gives him the edge, but the dude barely tries on D.

Ehhh, I still think Booker gets a lot of empty stats. He hasn't carried teams like Mitchell has. But then again, Booker doesn't have a Gobert.

It's like the KAT vs. Gobert debate to me. One is shinier, but Gobert is just a better option if winning is your ultimate goal.

I think it's hilariously funny that Suns fans automatically think they are a very good team that is going to make the playoffs as an 5-6 seed, because they have Chris Paul now. And better yet, are better than the Jazz and... and.. will be seeded higher when the playoffs starts. I mean, c'mon, the Jazz are still clearly a much better team.
