Why don’t we ever try driving to the rim? Or throwing it up to Gobert for a lob? Why do we just keep chucking up 3s when clearly it ain’t working right now?

You can’t give Booker and CP a free pass to a quick midrange shot. I said this exact thing in the pre-game: you have to make their other players touch it and make a play. We give up that shot too easily and Monty knows it, too.

Zero adjustment from our coaching staff on what had to be the most obvious thing.

Can’t play anything like how we did against Dallas.

I haven’t watched very much of the Suns. But I did see enough to make me wonder how effective their offense is if you take away their first or second reads. They didn’t look very good in a scramble-and-react mode—when someone besides CP3 or Booker was forced to do something with the ball. —But, of course, we don’t matchup very well with them in this regard. CP and Booker will get a lot of what they want.

... So we’ll need to outlast them. I think we need a 40% 3pt shooting night to win this one on the road. With 45+ attempts. Clarkson needs to find his groove in the paint.
Bump

Could only catch the last 4 minutes but Suns look committed to their play, we do not.

Royce died on a screen and didn't even get back on the play. That can't happen.

Gobert had good effort and a great pass.

Conley played well and was the only creator but it felt rushed.

Because they have to work to do these things and these guys don't seem to like to work sometimes.

Worst 3 pt shooting half this season. 3-22. Ridiculous.

4 total assists in the half? Just shows you we're not playing our game. No passing no ball movement no player movement. Just complete crap.

When's the last time we've beaten a really good team at full strength?

I know we haven't had many opportunities to do so, but it's really starting to feel like we belong in the same fraud bucket as the Milwaukee Bucks: Fantastic record and net rating because we consistently annihilate mediocre to bad teams, but against other really good teams we just look straight up bad.

Donovan finished at the rim with pressure! That'll be a million dollar top shot moment because it's so rare.

Moving, attackibg, playing with purpose and get back in it, then back to iso, selfish lazy play. This team is so frustrating right now.

They are so enamored with the sun's they wanted to give Mitchell's 3 to booker.

Make a damn three. Oh my god.

We already know what an awful playoff game looks like for this team. And those are going to be a nightmare.

I wasn’t aware the guy who played the pirate in the Tom Hanks movie plays for Phoenix.

I noticed in the 3rd that it's not just ballhandlers' fault when plays get stagnant. There isn't much movement on the floor. Ingles and Mitchell finger pointing for players to move while standing still is pretty ironic. There is ball pounding that goes on but that is not the only reason we get iso basketball, sometimes players without the ball wait for a play to get to them and ballhandler is forced to create.
