Tim Tebow's performance on Sunday shouldn't surprise anyone. Historically, Christians have done poorly against Lions

I'm starting to believe in Matt Barkley as a very solid pro prospect. If my Phins miss out on Luck, looks like there could be a good consolation prize. I thought both QB's looked great in the Stanford-USC showdown over the weekend.

This times a million!!
This.
Oh and to hobo, I only saw your post because it was quoted. I have you on ignore for a reason.
Have me on ignore? Seems about right for anyone who's a drama queen.
Just making sure this is seen.
Are you saying I'm being one?
You are, but catratcho is right.

Personally I still think Luck with his pedigree (similar to Manning) would have to be rated higher but personally and my opinion means nothing but after those 3 players I think the QB from AU Foles is better (right now) then Jones at OU and there's still the combine and other draft prep that could change a lot but I think he'd be the 3rd QB I'd take after Luck and Barkley. You didn't believe in him before this game? I had him ranked 2/3 (Barkley/Jones).
I made an arguement earlier that I would consider Barkley and Blackman (WR) over just Luck
If you have a QB like Luck (if he is really the next Manning) then it doesn't really matter who your receivers are. Take Luck, fortify your offensive line and get some receivers who can specialize in things (deep threats and possession receivers).
This.
If you're the Colts specifically, draft Luck and try to trade Manning. You could probably get a couple 1sts for him if he appears back to health.
Trading Manning would be stupid. He has been everything to that franchise. Keep him, let him play another year if his health permits. If it doesn't, have him restructure his contract to have him on board as a mentor to Luck.

Won't work. Everybody loses. It wouldn't be fair to Manning and Luck is not going to want to ease into any QB situation while Manning plays out his contract.
The Favre/Rodgers situation is completely different. Favre wasn't coming off a major injury and Rodgers was nowhere near a big of a name as Luck coming out of college. Luck is giong to walk away with the Heisman this year and is considered the most NFL-ready QBs to come out of college in years.

That's why the Colts should trade the first pick (if they get it) and draft either Barkley or Jones, then let them learn under Manning for a couple years.
