I don't remember what thread it was so I can't dig it up... but someone posted a couple days ago about the jazz making it look like DM would play all week but pull the plug at the last minute to throw the Grizz or Warriors off for game one. Now that that happened, everyone is pissed.....?

If that was their moronic plan, they probably should have clued in their own players, as well as Mitchell himself.

Probably not knowing who the opponent was until late on Friday evening limited the Jazz's preparation.

Yeah, but they have limited time and energy to practice. The Jazz are going to need to scheme for Ja Morant and maybe Dillon Brooks.

Thanks to the brilliance of our medical staff, we're now staring at essentially a must-win game with our star player not having played in over a month.

I think we'll win, but it's annoying that idiotic decision-making even put us in this position.

The fact is the Grizzlies just played better and wanted the game more. This better serve as a wakeup call for the Jazz, or they will have the humiliating distinction of being one of the few #1 seeds to lose.

They still refer to it as the 1v8 but in reality it is 1vs9. They would be the first 9 seed to knock off a number 1.

For you guys who bashing Favors and think Rudy won matchup vs JV. Favors clearly outplayed JV while Rudy struggled a lot.

Sure he got them the lead but was nowhere to be seen in the 4th. If it wasn't for Morant Jazz win.

Seems to me that the Jazz have traditionally played poorly after several day layoffs. They seem to take 2 or 3 games to get their rythm back. Hopefully this won't be the case this time.

Brooks should foul out every game. I don’t understand why there are clearly two sets of rules for certain guys... homeboy was mugging guys all night and then Mike gets two touch fouls on him. Straight garbage.
