It is beyond dispute that way too much weight has been put on Rudy’s shoulders. No one should be surprised that when a team exploited the glaring and looming weakness to the strategy, it totally imploded the Jazz.

Some of Rudy’s shortcomings drive me nuts, but not nearly as much as the organization not taking those shortcomings into consideration in their roster (primarily) and coaching decisions.

the irony here is he wasn't that good and couldn't stop anyone in the playoffs.

Royce doesn't have to leave but he can't be paired up with Conley, Ingles, or Niang anymore.
and we should really consider brining him off the bench as an energy guy. upgrading the 3 would be HUGE
for us.

You attacking Royce of all people at this point exposes your hate for the dude. Royce was the only dude playing with any oomph besides Donovan, the only dude consistently helping Rudy on D and on the boards, and the only dude really digging out possessions out of pure effort for the team.

The Jazz didn’t lose because they couldn’t score, it’s because they were sloppy and couldn’t get stops. Those problems would’ve been much worse without Royce and he was great in the playoffs.

Royce played his *** off this series.

Just reading between the lines from Conley's interview, it doesn't seem to me he's all that committed to being back with the Jazz next season.
That’s being generous. Sounds like he’s gone no matter what to me, if I’m being frank and honest.

Royce plays hard and does an decent job. He's not Bruce Bowen, but he would be a fantastic 2nd best perimeter defender.

Kawhi and PG are two of the best perimeter defenders in the game. Don put up record numbers on them. Sometimes, you just can't stop the offense.

I don't blame Royce.
