GQP attacks on the military

Lol Biden threatens 2nd amendment supporters with Nukes and F15s and Democrats are concerned about tabloids.
It was not a threat. It was a joke in response to knuckle head gun lovers arguing why they need their AR-15s to fight the government. He was making fun at the comments consider the government has Jets and Nukes which makes their argument RIDICULOUS. No one needs an assault rifle to go hunting or to protect their families. Any militia group who thinks they can defeat the US Military is smoking some good weed.

First of all I am 61 years old so I probable have lived more life than you have. Really you are comparing this to Vietnam or Afghanistan. Then you have the nerve to call me a DUMB millennial. That is the best you got. You are comparing Apples to a Rock.

OB, my man...Sorry, is that him/he, or him/she, what would thou like me to call thee?

How you continue to lie on these forums, either shows you're a paid shill, or a complete moron. I'm going to assume the latter before I start posting JIDF pdf's of pay scales.

Al-O-Meter is very clear in his using of the phrases "Collectivist" and "Individualist" aka Collectivism vs Individualism. His words are very easy for someone educated in politics, so let me post some videos here for you to watch to educate yourself on the subject.

You are well educated in politics.... Thanks for the laugh

You think that Afghanistan defeated the united States? Strange that we are still even called the untied States if they apparently took over our country and own the united States after defeating us.

You think that Vietnam didn't use their military? Lol

You know, your head would make a perfect brick.

I bet your wife rolls over and thinks, how the hell did I end up with this moron.

Edit: Sorry, this was a bit harsh. My wife does roll over and think what an donkeyhole I am.

Hax0rs, there are certainly people whose respect I value well enough that I care which pronouns they use. You are not among them. Feel free to use any pronouns you wish.

How you continue to lie on these forums, either shows you're a paid shill, or a complete moron.
I take your opinion with all the seriousness you have earned.

He is clear. He is also wrong.

Here's something that's even easier, a definition.

Thanks for including videos by Friedman and Peterson. That really makes it clear how lightly to take you.

And if those are the glorious victories an armed population can bring, whoa... don't sign me up.

Kendi doesn’t define words. That is one of his trademarks.
In post #22 of this thread, I quoted for you, at length, his definition of what he says he means by being "anticapitalist". I see no sign at all you read it; you certainly haven't responded to it.

So far, I've been assuming that you are a person who wants to think about and discuss things seriously. However, when I give you Kendi's definition, and a few pages later you engage in a flat falsehood that Kendi didn't give a definition, that certainly gives me reason to reconsider. That probably doesn't mean anything to you, but it is a disappointment to me. Engaging in conversation with serious thinkers who disagree with you is the best way to grow. Still, it is what it is.

He is the posterchild for 2+2=5.
You say that like it is a bad thing.

You should look up the viral clip of someone asking his definition of racism in which he uses 200 words to give a definition of “racism is a collection of racist things”. Kendi says what he means, then sets about confusing the language to make his radical statements more palatable to the impressionable.
I don't find Kendi confusing at all. From what I have seen of his writing, he's nuanced and careful, which does come across as confusing to people who need simplicity and boldness.

In this case his amorphous use is credited to “they say” because it is so completely stupid that even he won’t claim it.
He's pretty clear on "they" being " conservative defenders of capitalism".

Both Kendi and I know how to use a dictionary so let’s go with that for determining what words mean.
You seem to think that will support your point of view in this discussion.

col·lec·tiv·ist /kəˈlektivəst/
adjective
relating to the practice or principle of giving a group priority over each individual in it.
So, not Kendi, who doesn't teach giving any group priority over any other. Thank you.

When you see people first as Black, Hispanic, or White rather than individuals John, Jack, or Julie then you have a Collectivist view. It is about priority. Which is more important? To me, the person is the more important and I don't care at all about how much melanin their skin has or where their great-great-great grandparents called home.
Nor do you care how much better individual white people get treated than individual black people based on skin color, from what I can tell.

To Ibram X. Kendi, everything is about skin color.
Quote, please.

Ibram X Kendi is a racist. He calls himself "antiracist" but that is just the new "reverse racist" and it is ordinary racism by a different name.
Ordinary racism oppresses. Whom does Kendi oppress?

If that is what resonates with you then you aren't alone because he sells a lot of books.
Your description doesn't resonate, mostly because it's based on entirely false conceptions.

You seemed to be saying that our citizens could beat our military cause look at Afghanistan and Vietnam. Isn't that what you were saying?
I'll say that, and it wouldn't be close. Our US Military is 1.4 million strong but our civilians are over 330 million strong and armed to the teeth. How do you think the US Military would feed 1.4 million soldiers if the entire civilian agricultural and industrial base were fighting against them? How many of those 1.4 million soldiers would defect if their entire civilian set of family and friends were on the other side? How would the military pay the soldiers if the entire US civilian banking structure were against them?

He's pretty clear on "they" being " conservative defenders of capitalism".
Yes, but he doesn't quote any. The average defender of capitalism certainly doesn't say that, and any who do should be ridiculed just as Kendi should be ridiculed for incorporating something so ridiculous into his construct. The premise is intrinsically stupid and you don't get away with making a thing unstupid by saying other stupid people say the thing.

The 2+2=5 postmodernism that Kendi engages in is incredibly destructive because it strips us of common language. We don't fight when we can talk things out. Making it harder for people of different opinions to communicate through this sort of abstraction is not a good thing and if for nothing else, Kendi should be condemned for that.

Damn man, you're catching on.

500k max with 50 year old AK's vs 300 mil with the most advanced hardware civilians can buy.

Marxists/Leninists/Maoists/Globalists know they cant touch that.

Lol you talk about our military defecting yet act as if all 330 million civilians would be totally down for going to war.
My 80 year old parents are part of that 330 million. So are handicapped. So are people who don't own a gun and have never fired a gun. Then you have lots of gun owners who rarely ever fire their guns. Then you have lots of gun owners who wouldn't participate. That 300 million number dwindles pretty quick. Basically you have some militias against a trained military with advanced weaponry.

If the military wanted to they could drop bombs from the sky. Tanks etc. Civilians would get destroyed. Of course our government isn't going to do that to our citizens so it's nothing to worry about.

So you were saying that Afghanistan and Vietnam show that our civilians could beat our military like I thought.

Thing is Afghanistan didn't beat our military. How many US military personell died in Afghanistan? How many of their people died.
Vietnam used their millatary rather than their civilians and still suffered more casualties.

The fact that you would think I was comparing the conflicts in Afghanistan and Vietnam just shows how dumb you are.

Ooh.. Mr. Internet tough guy. No you were implying that the US Military lost or were beaten/held in check with guys in Sandals and their AK 47 in Afghanistan. Throwing in Vietnam just made your comment more ridiculous. However, the fact that all you have is to insult me shows how little your brain is or maybe it is your penis. Your argument weak and you and your militia buddies would be crying if the US Military came after you. Just like all the traitors from Jan 6th whining about how they are being mistreated, begging forgiveness from the courts because they don't want to go to prison.

If the military wanted to they could drop bombs from the sky. Tanks etc. .
The civilians could do that too. All of the factories that make those bombs, tanks, and planes aren't military facilities. The fuel that powers them isn't from military wells. The bullets they shoot flow from civilian assembly lines.

The civilians side wouldn't immediately need military hardware. There are fields full of mothballed jetliners that could be made flyable in days. Imagine several hundred Boeing 707, 727, 747s, and similar 1970's/1980's airliners loaded to capacity with tons of high explosives flown by remote control into bases. All of that would take place while the weapons factories spun up to full capacity making the latest and greatest weapons on earth for the civilian forces.

The 300 million who wouldn't fight don't have to. They just have to do all the things the make our economy hum as they do now. In that scenario, it is the military that would be like trapped rats with no more food coming in, no more arms coming in, no more fuel coming in, no water coming in, all of the power lines cut, and completely surrounded as their adversaries got stronger by the minute.

There is no situation where the U.S. military as a single unified block would be at war with U.S. civilians as a single unified block.

So the arguments here are irrelevant.
