Title Change: Bidens Incompetence Thread

The vice president of the Minneapolis City Council says she was "held hostage" while attending a Pride celebration over the weekend, as video shows a large group of protesters blocked her vehicle until she agreed to sign a list of their demands that included dropping criminal charges against rioters.

"We are no longer asking, we are demanding"

Department of Defense Dictionary of Military Terms defines terrorism as: The calculated use of unlawful violence or threat of unlawful violence to inculcate fear; intended to coerce or to intimidate governments or societies in the pursuit of goals that are generally political, religious, or ideological.

Is that an impeachable offense? Was Biden the one holding the woman hostage?

I hear were all supposed to stop using the term boogeyman and say Hunter Biden now instead.

I'm just going to make this my bash your idiot president thread so I don't clutter the place with your administrations sheer incompetence.

I manage a very prominent hardware store and this is just insulting. 16 cents? Price of lumber is up 300%. A roll of 12/2 Romex used to be $65 and is now $113, probably more when I do price changes today as it's went up every few days. Copper is up over $1 per foot. Our .99(has been .99 for the 6 years I've worked here)hand soap is now $1.25. PVC has went up .10-.50 a foot, I've had to reprice my entire galvanized and gas pipe fittings TWICE (1000+ items). Truth be told I would say approximately 70% of my entire store has inflated. I am not lying about that either. Ohh I forget water heaters are up over $100 a piece. There just so much.

The most insulting part about this is they used only 12 items, selected items, to make a point. 12 items lol. Things like soda, alcohol, steak, ribs, condiments, and the hundreds of thousands of items we will use were magically left of.. 12 items. Ffs gas alone is highest it's been since Obama at more tham $1 more per gallon so with a 20 gallon tank... you know what? You do the math.

I'll use left leaning politico just to prove I'm not making things up. Inflation is the highest it's been in a long time.

Building prices have been up since last summer so not sure why you’re implying it might be from this admin alone. They are absolutely out of control - I would never build a house right now with how much raw materials have risen.

But yes, that tweet is pretty dumb. One should never trust puff pieces any admin puts out as it’s disingenuous.

After the monthly employment report confirmed that the U.S. economy continued to recover at a healthy clip, the S&P 500 added 32.40 points, or 0.8%, to 4352.34, setting a seventh consecutive record, its longest watermark streak since mid-1997
Technology stocks led the gains, pushing the Nasdaq up 116.95 points, or 0.8%, to 14639.33, also setting a record. As Friday’s upswing broadened out, the Dow joined the rally, advancing 152.82 points, or 0.4%, to 34786.35, hitting its first closing high since early May.
The action wrapped up another solid week of gains. The Nasdaq rose 1.9% over the last five trading days, posting its sixth weekly advance out of the last seven. The S&P 500’s historic run added 1.7% this week, and the Dow gained 1%.

Friday’s jobs report added to the good news cheering on markets. Employers added 850,000 jobs last month, topping expectations.

My 401k has been kicking *** this year too.

I'm watching it unfold myself. If I wasn't so crazy busy I could provide solid evidence and I will at some point. Inflation was most definitely happening under Trump. Especially during his trade war with China, I was actually starting to turn on him for this but it eventually settled down. This is 5x that and I'm not just making that up.

Materials are running low. Biden is paying workers more to stay home than to work. He's then flooding the economy with fake money. People now have more money to spend but not enough work to keep up with the fake spending. This causes inflation and shortages. Historic in some cases.

My trucks pre covid were always at 92-97% fill with an occasional high 80's. Today it was 63%, which is about average the last 6 months. That's losing everybody money causing what some experts call hyper inflation. Even the Feds are warning about this

You miss the part that these numbers are in a big part due to Republican states stopping paying people not to work. Basic economics. I mean historically low numbers just a 2 months ago. 25 GOP states and one Democrat stop handing out money and look what happened. Duh...

Left leaning Politico again.

Red states lead economic recovery, giving GOP ammo against Biden’s spending plans

Of the 15 states that have returned to pre-pandemic levels of economic activity, 12 are led by Republican governors, Federal Reserve data shows. Of the 10 states reporting the lowest levels of activity since January 2020, seven — including New York, Pennsylvania and Illinois — are run by Democratic governors.

....

By comparison, states that still have some coronavirus restrictions in place, including California, Connecticut and Hawaii, saw the highest rates of unemployment in the country in May and were still producing less in April than they did pre-pandemic

The unemployment kicker is Biden's doing?

This is all **** that was happening during the Trump administration.

COVID has had a ****ed up impact on the economy. That isn't Trump's fault or Biden's. The unemployment **** is having many unintended consequences. Ultimately, however, I hope that it finally pushes up wages for the lowest earners. They've been waiting like 40 ****ing years to see an increase and if that means **** costs more for the rest of us, boo ****ing hoo.

You drive a fork lift don't you? Not hating on fork lift drivers but just curious.

Btw... You all do realize nothing is stopping you from living like a socialist right? Nothing is stopping you from spreading your money evenly to the unfortunate. You all could make a tremendous impact if you just simply practiced what you preached.

Hell just image what left leaning Hollywood could do. I gave 19%, and that's plenty. Maybe the government needs to learn to spend

No sir. My current title is Mechanical Technician.

I am a US Navy veteran, I served 6 years in the Navy as a Fire Controlman https://cool.osd.mil/usn/enlisted/fc.htm which begins in the AECF (advanced electronics and computer field) program. I worked on automated defensive weapon systems. Specifically the Phalanx CIWS https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phalanx_CIWS and RAM https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RIM-116_Rolling_Airframe_Missile systems.

After that I worked as an engineering technician for IM Flash Technologies in Lehi, UT. I worked in the Diffusion Dept working on vertical diffusion furnaces made by Kokusai and Tokyo Electron Limited and in-situ-steam-generation chambers made by Applied Materials.

After that I worked for Danone NA. I work on FFS (form fill seal) packaging equipment for them.

I left Danone to work for SARCOS Robotics https://www.sarcos.com/?utm_term=sa..._YdqnpBCOFqAiJOPoKNyFfkx5Z5VpKWYaAmadEALw_wcB where I worked directly on their Guardian S line. I left SARCOS and went back to Danone NA. That's where I work today.

It's interesting that @JazzyFresh called me out for being a forklift driver.

In 2012 I was working for IM Flash Technologies. My mother died from cancer that year. One day a few months after her death I walked out on my job. I was in a bad place.

I was out of work for over a year. I had a little cushion from her life insurance and inheritance coupled with the cushion I had from my father's life insurance six years earlier. Eventually I had to go back to work.

I worked as a security guard for the better part of a year before getting hired on at Danone (with the help of one of jazzfanz.com's favorite posters) as... a forklift driver.

I worked there as a forklift driver for two months. When a spot opened in the maintenance dept I was invited to apply and I got the maintenance position.

It is interesting to me that somehow @JazzyFresh is referencing a job I did for two months out of the last 20+ years.

You want to explain that @JazzyFresh? You ****ing stalking me, bro?

Lol the guy that literally forgot it even happened and had to be reminded. Credit where it is due though. That's why I like DeSantis, he's honest and I feel could heal more than your idiot President and Blabbering Trump can.

Oh I may find you a pompous prick but I at least thank you for your service GF. And no ..I'll never understand stalking. Following one around and just watching them? That's sounds pretty pointless and waste if life to me
