2021 NBA Draft Preview (new thread)

Also, who's hyped for the hokey puff piece from one of our media guys about "Jared was informed he can't have #12, because a certain Jazz legend has it hanging in the rafters *hardy har har* nudge nudge nudge"
Gonna be a real cringy Locke cackle after that.

Butler enrolled at Alabama, but did not participate in the team's summer workouts and requested an unconditional release from his letter of intent in order to transfer to Baylor University.[6] Alabama released him from his commitment in August.[7] A scholarship had opened up at Baylor due to the early retirement of Jake Lindsey.[1]

Butler got to Baylor because of the early retirement of Jake Lindsey, who happen to be DL's son.
Circle of life ****.

I’m solid on FA additions… Caruso was a dude I wanted once upon a time. This one isn’t hard. Just watch Butler. If he’s healthy he’s a rotation player. All the off court stuff is A+. Dudes gonna be awesome.
Most prospects you gotta squint a little, use some imagination, get hyped about "upside."

This is a rare pick where you just watch a little film and you know. He plays hard but effortless all at once.

Juhann Begarin really went ahead of Sharife Cooper. Dude must have tanked his interviews or has legal problems.

Which guy left has a big frame (like 6’11” wingspan or maybe bigger) and has the best 3 and d potential?

If Zanik was hoping to make some inroads with new ownership, he got off to a strong start tonight.

I anticipate that these future seconds are used to offload Faves, which I am more than fine with.

Let's not all start sucking each others dicks over this draft pick. Kid hasn't played a game yet. We're gonna need more than a 40th pick to get us over the line.
