Not sure if this was posted but the Nets got Patty Mills on a discount. The rich keep getting richer, and their GMs can just be on cruise control.
LonzoThis Lavine/Derozan/Vuce three headed monster in Chicago will be fun to watch next season. “Your turn my turn” iso basketball on every possession. Don't think they will win a ton of games that way but should be entertaining for the fans

yea this discount **** has to stop.Malik Monk going to the Lakers on a minimum is a "discount."
Don’t forget, they’ll be the number one target for any buyouts. Unreal.Players signing with Lakers for cheap is messed up. Now Nunn is with them.
It's quite sad actually, how the league is not doing a thing about it. All the good players are flocking to the Lakers, Nets and Warriors on a discount. In fact the league itself is probably supporting it because it makes them money. Well, if the league won't step in, the basketball gods probably will.Don’t forget, they’ll be the number one target for any buyouts. Unreal.

I mean, don’t Lebron and AD and Westbrook count as big trades/signings?If it's someone like Derozan or Butler signing with the Lakers the yeah I understand the frustration. But Malik Monk? Kendrick Nunn? Really?
You guys do realize that Gay ditched the Lakers to sign with us right?
Didn't we just talk about his last night? Only 4 teams in the last decade ended up winning the championship by signing some big name free agents. 2012 and 2013 Heat. 2017 and 2018 Warriors. That's it.
Other teams won championship through trade and draft success, like the 2011 Mavs, 2015 warriors, 2019 Raptors and 2021 Bucks. A path that we can definitely follow.
Trades are part of the list, so AD doesn't count. LeBron, however, signed as an FA, so I do believe the 2020 Lakers could be added to the list. We'll see about 2022...I mean, don’t Lebron and AD and Westbrook count as big trades/signings?
Yeah but it's all fair game when it comes to trade. Like Raptors trading for Kawhi, OKC trading for PG, Bucks trading for Jrue, Suns trading for CP3. As long as you can put together a good enough trade package, even the smallest market can acquire big stars.I mean, don’t Lebron and AD and Westbrook count as big trades/signings?
Oh well in that case the rule applies and you can rule the Lakers out this yearTrades are part of the list, so AD doesn't count. LeBron, however, signed as an FA, so I do believe the 2020 Lakers could be added to the list. We'll see about 2022...
But lebron by himself couldn't even take the Lakers to the playoffs in 2019. It wasn't until the AD trade that made them a real title contender.Trades are part of the list, so AD doesn't count.
