Lockout is OVER!!! NBA is back according to sources

Can't wait to hear Mike Breen gush over Derek Fisher for this now. Not only was Fisher such a kick *** guy before but now he saved the NBA

This will suck. From @DraftExpress.

"That's on the docket for today. Stern will push for 20. I think players will relent. RT @luvtheraps: What are you hearing about age limit?"

As a fan I have enjoyed college ball more because of the 19 & older rule. I was/am hoping for a 20 & older rule. Get to watch these guys play college for 2 years would make NCAA tournament so much better.

I agree, it's great for college basketball. It would just weaken next years draft.

So can someone tell me if this deal is good or bad for small market teams? I read through the winners/losers column on ESPN and I couldn't really tell if this deal screwed the little guys or not.

I sort of don't give a **** and could care less, for the most part, how we do as a team, and am more intrigued by our individual players and their development for now. Favors, Burks, Hayward, Kanter, in that order with Millsap and his small forward experiment coming in at 5th.

Exact Same. I'm also interested in seeing how Al Jefferson continues his momentum, whether he has gotten stronger or anything. I have been pimping the **** out of Big Al all offseason, the ******* better not let me down haha

I think one of the biggest changes was simply a tightening of the luxury tax, but dont quote me on it. We have to keep in mind that 5 years down the road, our team will have to try and keep all of the assets we have acquired, and a soft cap will definitely help with this. Im quite happy with the way things turned out.

Can't wait to see what the schedules are going to look like! There's a few match-ups I'd like to see. And I'm wondering if the Jazz will be in Chicago around my birthday as usual? Probably not...

(and I'm also curious to see how some of the free agency stuff shakes out)

I couldn't take the lockout and potential 2012 draft picks talk

I really dont blame you. I was a few CJ posts away from avoiding it altogether as well. Im just happy its all over now, and we actually have something to talk about.

I don't dare tell my wife this but all I wanted for Christmas was the NBA. When I told her that the NBA was back on Christmas day, her reaction was that Christmas was ruined. For her maybe, but not for me. It couldn't be a better Christmas.
