Fitts showed out better than Oni tonight IMO.We can grab about 50 guys from FA that are better than Oni

I like both Bolden and Fitts. Wish we could keep em!I’ve seen two minutes of this Bolden guy and I like his game more than Dok.
I don’t like his three stroke, he kicks his legs out - looks forced.Butler looks good, which is a huge deal because it means we can rest Conley a lot. Thought Pascall looks good and a perfect physical fit for a much needed jazz small ball lineup—if only he could hit like two of the threes he took. If he can start hitting those than he’s going to be in the league for a while. Might be a big if though.
Against the Spurs, Oni was decent. Not tonight though.Fitts showed out better than Oni tonight IMO.
With Gay out, yes....but when he's healthy Whiteside is easily the worst player in our top 9. Locke also said that we might be wanting to shift Ingles to more of a 4/wing to save him the burden of being a primary ball handler. Makes sense because Butler has got to play.
Once we have Gay back, I think we should look at Whiteside/Paschall as a matchup dependent decision. Maybe even before Gay is healthy if we want to play Butler and move Ingles off the ball.
what's impressive about this highlight is that his best plays were against Mavs starting unit/main rotation. The kid has definitely shown that he deserves a spot in the rotation. 15-20 minutes a night at least.
decent like 2 of 3 for 6 points...... definitely not anywhere near good enough to make up for his long string of bad games. Low ceiling low floor at its finest display.Against the Spurs, Oni was decent. Not tonight though.
Where are we going to find him 15-20 minutes a night?? I think Quin will stick with his 9 man rotation and Butler will only play on nights when guys are out.

According to our rotation depth chart from last season, our 8th and 9th man are no longer here, which leaves 30min open for grabs. plus i can see us further taking minutes from Conley/Joe/Bogey due to their age. Making it roughly 40 minutes available for Butler/Forrest/Paschall. And we don't have to worry about Gay until mid-season after he is fully recover.
Quin has never used a 10 man rotation and he's not going to start now.
It reminds me of DeShawn Stevenson.I don’t like his three stroke, he kicks his legs out - looks forced.
Hope you’re right! I mean we all see it, but Snyder is a hard nut to crack! And cracking that magical 9 man rotation could prove to be a daunting task.Butler’s going to get minutes every night. The team has made no secret about the fact that they need to keep a watchful eye on Conley’s minutes in an attempt to keep him fresh and healthy for the playoffs and JZ hasn’t been shy about the fact that they think Butler is ready to contribute now. It will fluctuate depending on injuries/load management, but this kid isn’t getting very many DNP’s in his rookie season. Mark the tape.
Good comparison! Where’s Horny Toad (shot doctor) when you need him?It reminds me of DeShawn Stevenson.
Haven’t watched the whole game… what I saw he looked solid on defense. I’m research him for 5-10 minutes and become an expert too.I looked at Fitts’ college stats and now I’m an expert. He shot really well from deep and rebounded well. I wasn’t paying enough attention to his defense but if he’s a competent defender (which would make him a relatively good defender compared to the rest of our guys) and he can have Oni’s role.
