I agree with you, however this is a hugely unbalanced debate. Malone wins by a landslide.

The first and only stop is to look at the stats:

Not to mention the consistent all-star quality of Malone, two MVP's, all-time ranking, and the record of being the 2nd most all-time scorer in history. Oh, and the other consideration that Malone is arguably the greatest PF ever.

I like Millsap, but he doesn't compare to the Malone that we had for so many years. The only thing Millsap has over Malone is that he's yet to disgrace his own career, and give a huge finger to our fanbase by becoming a Laker. If he does, may God have mercy on his soul.

A good piece of support for Millsap, but at the same time what about this game from Malone in the latter years of his career:

Perfect from the field. 12-12. 10 Rebounds, 5 Assists, 30 points. 6-8 from the line. That's a remarkable night. 11 points in 28 seconds is definitely impressive, but going perfect from the field for 39 minutes is a greater achievement in my opinion.
