You think we are going to average 110 points per game?

You can't add straight down a list like this and make that conclusion. Players miss games. These estimates could be true and the Jazz could average 98 pts/game.

It still doesn't account for the scrubs that will average anywhere from 1 to 5 ppg each, so it could also be more.

you are right, we can't reach any conclusions about the team's average points per game using the OPs projections. There's no point guessing whether that is true or not.

I think the CJ, Millsap, and Burks projections are generous. I wouldn't be surprised if Hayward did better.

Burks is a volume scorer, Millsap increased his range to the 3-pointer and CJ Miles is due for a breakout season. That's why there numbers are a bit generous

Harris- 35 mins, 14 ppg, 6 assists
Burks - 20 mins, 7 ppg, 2 assists
Hayward - 32 mins, 13 ppg, 2 assists, 3 rbs

Favors- 30 mins, 10 ppg, 6 rebounds, 3 blocks
Kanter- 18 mins, 7 ppg, 9 rebounds
CJ Miles - 32 mins, 15 ppg, 3 rbs
M Okur - 18 mins 8 ppg 5 rbs
Bell - 15mins 6 ppg

Theres soo much that could happen. On one hand, Al could easily breach twenty if he becomes the focal point of this offense, and learns to draw fouls. On the other hand, the offensive output could be centred on either Millsap, Favors, Harris, or even Hayward. The Jazz are typically systematic with their utilization of players offensively, and I'm expecting high teens for our best players and mid teens for more of the role-players. I think Al and Millsap could easily break 20 if they were given the majority of looks offensively, but thats typically not how the flex offense works.

Its also important to note that Both Al and Harris scored over 20ppg just three years ago, and neither are past their prime. Couple their obvious ability to score (maybe off of too many attempts) with a lot of other capable scorers in Millsap, Favors, Hayward and maybe even Burks, and its noticeably hard for our team to have one or two players averaging 20+ points.

Harris- 35 mins, 14 ppg, 6 assists
Burks - 20 mins, 7 ppg, 2 assists
Hayward - 32 mins, 13 ppg, 2 assists, 3 rbs
Jefferson- 32 mins, 16 ppg, 9 rebounds, 2 blocks
Favors- 30 mins, 10 ppg, 6 rebounds, 3 blocks
Kanter- 18 mins, 7 ppg, 9 rebounds
CJ Miles - 32 mins, 15 ppg, 3 rbs
M Okur - 18 mins 8 ppg 5 rbs
Bell - 15mins 6 ppg
Millsap traded

For a first post and signing up today, and a name that has troll in it... I agree more with your idea of what will happen than anything else I have seen. I sure hope I see more production from Hayward, Burks, and Favors, but you could be close.

Yikes, you really think we are going to go 10-27?

sigh.....yes.

Biggest issues from the end of last season have not been addressed. New coach, weak wings, pg can't shoot 3-pt, a bunch of bigs each with an uncertain role and future, the most capable big is a basketball black hole. Add in a shortened training camp, and compressed season.

I hope I'm wrong. Alec Burks could be a dynamic wing player and/or Hayward might adjust to the NBA game speed thereby improving the wing situation and changing everything.

I'm predicting 25 wins this season, and am happy with that. 2012 is the best year since...idk when, to have a late lottery pick. Seriously, who's going to miss the playoffs if it means getting Brad Beal, Michael Kidd-Gilchrist etc.?
