Only rotation player with a minus
I’m over Forrest. I have no idea if the attention Butler got in the preseason pissed Quin off but it’s so dumb to play Forrest instead of him. The ball swings to Forrest in the corner the best you can hope for is “not a turnover”. He’s a “defensive ace” yet I watched pat bev give him buckets on three straight plays last night. He’s apparently unbenchable though because unlike Butler “he knows how to play with his teammates”.

Quin picks his horse and rides it until the horse is dead… unless the horse is a promising rookie then he abandons it mid race and calls the glue factory.

I honestly don't understand tight rotations in the regular season. The regular season is the perfect time to get all the other players a little bit of seasoning, even if it's a game here or there.

It seems like it's something in the water in Utah. Slogan, Ty, and now Snyder are all about playing the vets, with a rare exception like Donovan once in a blue moon.

I found it hilarious when Locke said he's kind of like our Gary Payton II. Give me a break.

He was solid in the Portland game but Locke wrote him a sonnet for the game before that… he had like 2 and 4 or something in 20 minutes.

His defense still reminds me of a version of Neto… he’s in the right spots but not really bothering anyone. He’s bigger and has more tools so it’s harder to get to the right spots but if JB had let Pat Bev score 7 pts on three possessions on all simple iso **** then he’d be relegated to the g league for eternity.

In fairness a lot of coaches favor vets… but we are t even talking about a vet here… second year two way guy… if we had a Raja Bell it’s one thing.

Does it seem like Clarkson’s more rational play coincided with Ainge stepping in as GM? I’ve nothing to base that on except the timing.
No it started a bit before that. I honestly think his horrendous outside shooting forced his hand. He just isn't a very good shooter. He had quite a few 1-10 or 2-12 from three type of games. Heck even last night he was 0-4 from three (8-12 from 2). I think he simply realized what he is. A great scorer in the paint and a poor shooter. Which is fine as long as he plays that way. For a while he was averaging over 10 3 point attempts per game and shooting under 30% from 3. That killed us in a bunch of games.
