Ok, I don't think anybody would give the kind of value for Hayward the the Jazz would be looking for. I'm pretty sure that the Jazz are the only ones who really put a lot of value in him.
Second, I think Hayward and and Burks are pretty tight. Have you no friends? Do you not know how to do a friendly jab?
As for what we should do, I think that's obvious. We keep the players we have, get some experience for the rookies and see who floats to the top. Lets say that we trade for some high profile player. What would they do? Play out their contract and bolt. It's not because Utah is a horrible place to live, it's because they can get better shoe deals in bigger markets. However, if we raise them here, and find the right kind of people (personality wise), they have a better chance of staying. Now this doesn't always work, (example Deron) But then again, name any team that still has a majority of their original draft picks.
All I'm really saying is lets play our young players and see what we have. There is something to say for hand picking your future talent.
