If Americans give the keys back to the car to Republicans in 22 and re-elect trump in 2024, all of these sanctions against Russia and support for NATO and Ukraine will dissolve. You are so completely unhinged from reality. Trump enacted more sanctions against Russia, Russian companies, and Russian oligarchs than any President in history. Biden came in to office and eased sanctions against Russia. Trump slapped sanctions on anyone helping Russia build the Nord Stream 2 pipeline and Biden got rid of those sanctions. You live in opposite world. Trump is the only Preisdent among the last four to keep Putin in check and that is recognized by the majority of Americans.

Americans have imagined if Trump had been reelected and per the Gallup poll that just came out 62% of them think Russia would have never moved on Ukraine. That includes almost 40% of Democrats who think if Trump would have been in office he would have stopped Putin from invading Ukraine. Trump is many things but weak isn't one of them.

Just saw on the news at the gym that the UN (a group of countries) gave 20 million to Ukraine. Also saw that yesterday the US gave 350 million to Ukraine.

WTF is 20 million gonna do? They should be trying to broker a ceasefire and get some ****ing peace keepers on the ground. 20 million? That's 20 javelin missiles....
 
I think Putin overestimated the willingness of his population to be involved in this war. It appears he finally overplayed his hand.

With the leadership in some of these countries, it is becoming a national security risk to be reliant on energy sources for them, especially when we can produce it while also creating jobs on the home front. Multiple benefits.

Seems like Putin thought Ukrainians were as dumb and loyal as Republicans here. Ukraine has been fighting for its own sovereignty for years. They rejected putin’s interference in 2014 and again in 2014. Putin, like most dictators, has surrounded himself with yes men and that has caused him to be detached from reality. Much like trump!

Hopefully it includes radioactive tea or a pistol with a single bullet. The world will be a better place without scumbags like trump and Putin. I have faith that obesity and cholesterol will fix trump. But putin still has a decent amount of time most likely.

Exactly. Someone was saying that the US ins't doing enough, and maybe we arent, but 350 million from the US is a lot better than 20 million from a group of countries.

Well, the UN isn't exactly a group of countries. It's an organization that a bunch of countries are in, but it's not as tho they have access to the entire economy of all of those countries. I have no idea what the UN's operating budget is, but it's pretty small, considering.

I took a look at the event. Looked photoshopped. Understandable.

No news is bad news. Pretty much no reports getting out fer or agin, in terms of objective news.

The UN is the most significant government on planet Earth, 38% funded by the US and British Commonwealth, China (15%) is the next little doll in the puppet show. Russia 3%
