Coach is just too smart to not know what's happening here.
He need to alter minutes, guys, rotations, talents, physical profiles... and he knows it.
Talent's got to take precedence over process guys just right now.
 
I would've had Juancho in at the end instead of Clarkson, he shot much better than JC tonight and I think we could've used his length and rebounding down the stretch.

Both Don and Quin are stuck in Chinese finger traps. They think that the bad numbers against them so far are just fluky, and they get anxious and want to double down to get a larger sample to prove that what they’re doing isn’t wrong. They look at their fingers in the trap and think “****, I just need to pull this apart!” and get further entrenched in the problem, so they pull harder. Anyone who suggests to settle down and ease the tension is looked at like they’re a moron “you idiot! I won’t advance my fingers into a trap! I shall will my way out of this!!”

Tl;dr nothing is changing. Not this year.

Better? He's literally, by the stats and the eye test and the win loss test, the worst clutch "star" in the league. Better is an unbelievably gross understatement.

This has happened far too many times for the onus not to fall in Snyder’s lap. It’s not that we just lose too many close games; it’s that we lose too many close games in exactly the same way. For a coach to see that time and time again and not make some kind of a coaching adjustment is the definition of insanity!
 
So much is on Don's shoulders. It's unfortunate that Conley is so irrelevant, Royce can't be counted on for offense, Bojan gets hurt at the worst times and Rudy is worthless unless he's setting a screen.

You guys do nothing but bitch about Don. His defense. His lack of clutch. Everything.

How about bitch about irrevant players or limited players or wasted money or picks. We spend too much damn money to have so few options on this roster. If we went with Clarkson or Conley, it would be worse.

Nickeil has size, length, athleticism and some scoring ability if he picks his spots. Last year, Royce was an important rebounder for us, but he's not been doing it for us this year. Nickeil can defend and grab rebounds as well as Royce can, imo, and he'll be more dynamic on offense. Nickeil is actually a smidge taller and longer than Royce.
 
Huge missed opportunity for the Jazz tonight with the Warriors losing and the Mavericks down 20 right now. They'd better get their **** together soon.
