Probably because it sees the word "popup"

Random but I noticed there is the option to switch to desktop site on my Google browser options so I tried it and the tweets seem to be showing up on desktop mode. Not sure if that helps but there ya go. Still very rare to get tweets on the mobile version.

Retiring the app. The company that created it doesn’t keep it updated. A bit of a pain. It works if you have it for a few more months but pulled off app stores maybe 6+ months ago.

I also now getting links to the tweets but not the actual tweet which is nice

I can see the links for tests 1, 3, 4, and 5, but no media.

I can see nothing on test 2.

Adding the link is a big help at least.

This one came right up, I could see all of it. And recently I have been seeing the embedded tweet in other places maybe 10% of the time. Definitely an improvement.
