....he would sign with the Heat!!! He is exactly what the Heat are going to need with Lebron, Wade and Bosh teaming up next season! They are going to need spot up jump shooters to spread the floor for those slashers! In fact, they could also use Kapono....although he's on the downside of his shooting career! Kapono is signed to a pretty bad contract, but they could get Korver fairly cheap, especially if Korver sees this as his golden opportunity to win a championship. The Heat need outside shooting...not more "hoppers!"
 
I agree 100% unfortunately. Pretty much every mid level FA would be idiotic to not want to go to Miami with or without Lebron there.
 
You are saying if Korver had any brains, he would go ahead and sign for all the money Miami can offer him- something like a rookie minimum? Hah.

Good point. I forgot that there cap situation will be crazy if Lebron does go there.

....hey 22....I think your thinking like your only 22! Korver going to the Heat will bring him loads of endorsements....as this Heat team will be on the front burner of every sports show, bar, lounge, etc....and Korver will be able to have his own "Hot Dog" "Hamburger" "Milkshake" etc....His agent will be able to max out the potential of him being on this historic team, which is why all those other guys, Lebron, Wade and Bosh are taking less money to play together! With winning and winning big, which looks like what the Heat will be doing, he'll get his own radio show, car wash, car dealership, beach, Hotel, Motel, etc. etc. etc! Besides, nobody's going to sign Korver for much more than what he's going to be offered by the Heat anyway! Even though I like Korver and his style, I'm not going to be pulling for the Heat unless they end up playing the Lakers in the finals. But this Heat team with the 3 superstars on it....is the biggest thing to hit the NBA since Michael Jordan!
 
Korver will get most of the MLE. He has a skill that is valuable to a team willing to exceed the tax or without a ton of payroll.

I'm not fretting about him leaving the Jazz. Hayward is just as good at shooting FT's and probably a better ball-handler. So we get a sub that can hit two 15-18 ft. curls instead of two 3's. Hayward can easily come in and replace Kyle's 7 pts off the bench. And Kyle was not much help defensively. CJ can be a much better defender if he gets the backup mins at SG behind Matthews. Or Brewer.

Hilarious. There won't be many endorsements dollars left for anyone other than the big 3 if James goes there. Any way you slice it he will be leaving money on the table if he goes to the heat. Anyone who joins these 3 is playing for a ring, not money.

...there will be PLENTY of endorsement offers for Korver, trust me! This Heat thing is the biggest thing to hit Miami since, well, the last hurricane that decimated the city! He'll get enough salary and endorsements plus the chance to win championships that he'd be stupid not to take a decent offer from them!
