did you guys know anything about the "Dutch Santa clause" called "sinter Klaas"
always when Americans come over here they get a culture shock and go like wtf si up with santa clause and the "elves". because instead of being fat this Santa clause is skinny
and instead of magical non existent elves he has "african american" slaves called "black peter" (now i know they are not african AMERICANS but you know what i mean. afraid to use other words i might get banned"

also this santa clause comes from spain.
and gives good children presents and bad kids are taken by these Black guys(black peter) and put into a bag. to go to spain

if you dont believe me search google image or google and sirch voor "sinter klaas" "zwarte piet" or english terms "dutch santa clause" "or "black peter"
you can youtube the following terms "zwarte peit" or "sinter Klaas"

mods if i offend anyone with this thread i'm sorry about this. tried to put it as subtle as possible so hopefully i wont get a warning or this thread gets deleted. if so grow up mods
 
also some dudes got arrested this year for wearing a shirt saying "black peter is racist" and silently passively protesting this tradition
 
Well, this is really great for cultural diversity. So if the UN had an international Christmas festival.. . .lol. . . . . would they intentionally not invite the Dutch. . . . .

I love Dutch candy like salt/licorice, and all that neat copper kitchenware. It's pretty clear how this tradition of black helpers developed from stolid Dutch imperialism bent on ridding itself of British nonsense like elves, and the bit about Spain comes from when the Low Countries were Spanish conquests. So being sent to Spain as a punishment had every imaginable correlation to being consigned to slavery and horror. And of course, if every important and wealthy man of the age has a bunch of black servants, like the British slavers did, why would Santa Clause have to pay decent wages and benefits to his help.

Even today, Nike, HP and Walmart won't do that. We just don't call their workers slaves, or impose competitive measures to level the playing field so companies will have to either stay here and pay taxes, produce under serious environmental and workplace protectionss, or else pay the difference in production costs abroad as tariffs.

Stupid cartelist/corporate hypocrits run our government and the UN in all the exact ways that really ruin us. And if we go on electing these sellout politicians, we are all just slaves. . . . regardless of makeup or actual skin pigment.
 
I'm getting a pretty good kick out of this thread!

I took a few years of German and we learned about the German version of Christmas tradition and it also included the possibility of a bad child being carried away in the sack. If Black Peter was involved our teacher was wise enough not to talk about it.

yeah the german version is a bit different but if i'm not mistaken they also have black peter a young boy of moor origin instead of 6-8 black men. :D
