He should be more pissed at his lack of answers to being out coached consistently in the playoffs.
Last years Clippers fiasco is unforgivable.
He should be more pissed at his lack of answers to being out coached consistently in the playoffs.
Y'all must be new to the Monty Show lol.I also skipped through it and the hilarious thing was them talking about Rudy's pick and roll defense is "horrible" and that guys like Luka will go at him and he may affect like 1 out of 15-20 shots.
The also mentioned we don't have any power forwards... we don't have a "Markieff Morris" we don't have someone with Lebron's athleticism... just seems like there is a gap between those two mentions.
Tony acting like it was the Arenas wizards… jebus… a couple guys in an nba locker room have an ego and Quin can’t handle it. Sorry not everyone is Ricky Rubio, Favs, and Niang. Sometimes it comes with the territory. Lolz at Tony saying none of it is stuff Quin can control or is his fault… this team takes zero ownership over anything… nothing is anything that anyone can control and no one is to blame for anything.
Bunch of ****ing softees
Interesting interview with Tony Jones on Bill Riley's show today.
-Said that the extension the Jazz offered him is significant in terms of money.
- Quin wants some clarity in terms of how much say he would have in roster construction and decision making.
-Quin was hurt by the fact that he didn't have 100% buy-in from his roster this season, this is the first time this has happened since he's been with the Jazz. Tony says that it wasn't his fault that he didn't have complete buy-in from the roster.
-Fans have no idea how much was going on behind the scenes with this team last year and that may make Quin reluctant to come back.
-Internally the Jazz really have no idea how this is going to play out and it's just a waiting game at this point until Quin makes his decision.
I’m surprised you would say that being a French fan. If it were up to me, I’d trade Mitchell and keep Gilbert because even though Gobert is older he still seems to be trending upwards whereas for me Mitchell’s in decline. And more than anything I think it’s Gobert’s defense that fuels our regular season success. That all being said, with the right return pieces I feel we could trade both now stockpile some draft picks and still make the playoffs next year, I mean assuming a better developmental coach like Kenny Atkinson.- First thing to deal with is the coach. Can we win with this coach? some may say yes, for me not. The way he let this team slide in the wrong direction show a lack of leadership.
- Can Rudy/Don win together? probably yes but for that you have to add players with different qualities that the one we have. Can we do that? not easy. So trading one of them might be one option.
- IF we trade one of them, which one?. I m sorry to say that as a french people, but Rudy is the one who should go.
- At least this team won't win anything as long as they will consider Don as their player number one. He can't defend, struggle at money time so many times. But considering him as a number 1 bis and add another real star player may work. Can we do that? Not easy too.
Future look not easy....
Jerry was already losing it and Deron hinted to the Millers that he was interested in leaving. Honestly Deron handled the situation really well... We got the same haul the nuggets did trading Melo. Mitchell is closed lips and we know he'll demand a trade which will diminish his value. It’s DWill and Jerry all over again except nobody man enough to quit and nobody man enough to say trade me.

And can we just be real that he SHOULD want to leave? This thing is cliffed out and it’s gonna take a miracle to make moves such that Donovan thinks his best chance at winning is staying. The Jazz are gonna look really stupid when Mitchell asks out in a year.
Depends on what Donovan wants. And can we just be real that he SHOULD want to leave? This thing is cliffed out and it’s gonna take a miracle to make moves such that Donovan thinks his best chance at winning is staying.
Damn, I forgot about that. What a mistake (but I would have done the same thing so no hate)I could definitely see this being the case...we know Quin vetoed an Ingles trade last offseason.
The only scenario that makes sense to me is that Quin is waiting to see what happens with the team and he wants to be comfortable with who he will be coaching. The idea that he wants to keep Rudy makes sense as one of the key pieces. And it is easy to imagine him not being in sync with Danny/Ryan. I am sure he wants lots of money but I dont think that is the game going on nor does the narrative that the Jazz want him to quit. Like it or not the Jazz want Quin back.I could definitely see this being the case...we know Quin vetoed an Ingles trade last offseason.

Coaches regularly dont honor their contracts because front offices know there is no value in making a coach stay who doesnt want to be there. This makes sense. No matter what happens, Quin is going to get lots of money to coach. He's probably waiting to see what kind of roster he's going to be faced with. That said, he's under contract to coach and he should honor his contract. But maybe this is as simple as Quin not wanting to go through a rebuild process.
Gots to have all teh rim protections. Udoka, gobert, whiteside..... cant let any of them go. Players like that are crucial to winning championships in the nba as we are witnessing right now in the nba finals. Should probably try to get favors back too tbh.I could definitely see this being the case...we know Quin vetoed an Ingles trade last offseason.
I mean, they absolutely are crucial. Both teams have at least one rim protector. Boston has 2.Gots to have all teh rim protections. Udoka, gobert, whiteside..... cant let any of them go.
