Udoh and Biedrens were out much of last season as well.
Finally some optimism.

GSW will suck this year, its hard to find 7 teams that are gonna be worse
Are you sure this is right? It would mean that if GS is 7th worst that KOC would be sitting in his chair at the ping pong ball derby crossing his fingers that he doesn't win. I don't recall ever seeing or hearing mention of such a situation. All that matters is the result after the lottery.
Ha ha ha ha ha ha!
They just signed Kwame Brown for 7 million.
They might be getting too bad.

Keith Smart was a 1st year head coach, had experience on the bench, and isn't a ****ing buffoon. The Warriors finished 10th or 11th from the bottom last year. They'll probably do about the same this year. They could decide to tank, but it's unlikely with Mark Jackson being a new coach wanting to prove himself.
As people have mentioned, with the cap floor being raised, we're going to see a lot more contracts like this one that are large one year contracts to guys who probably don't deserve it.
One team that I know for sure is worse that the Warriors is the Turkish National Team. They have no system on the offensive end and they play no defense. The Warriors on the other hand at least can score. They will not stop many teams, but a lot of teams find it hard to slow them down for an entire 48 minutes.

Also, if the lottery would hold true, then the Warriors would have to be the EIGHTH worst. The pick is top-7 protected, meaning 1-7 are protected. The best the Jazz can get is the 8th pick in the draft.
I think we can get a good player around 8-10, but i am pretty sure with the current roster we will make playoffs and we have no chance to get a good pick with our own pick.
Btw, the GSW-pick-protection lasts until after the lottery, right?
That would be terribly awkward for both the Jazz and the Warriors. Who does the NBA put on the stand?
Can you imagine KOC and Mark Jackson standing next to each other at one lectern, the camera shows them as the 8th pick is announced: GOLDEN STATE WARRIORS. Jackson slams the podium, drops an f-bomb and storms off. KOC looks somber.
