2022 Annual Jazzfanz All Time NBA Draft

You would think the OP could keep the list updated at least.

We need more clarification.

Last year we used draft year to satisfy the era/decade criterion but we could choose any year of their career for competition (i.e. Michael Jordan would satisfy the 80's requirement for the draft but you can use his '95-'96 season for competition).

Are we doing that again this year?

@Thee Idiotic Minivan K

I just to clarify the rules in picking from each era - Does it matter what year they were drafted in, or only which season of theirs that you want represented? The signup thread had both listed, but it looks like that has changed and now it’s only the season you highlight.

For instance - Domino drafted MJ (who was drafted by the Bulls in ‘83) and used the ‘95/96 season of his to be represented by. Is the slot that he used 80-89 or 90-99?

79+ - open still
80-89 - MJ based on draft year?
90-99 - MJ based on season chosen?
20-09 - open still
10-present - open still
What is everyone’s preference? I like best year.

It should be draft year. How the hell was this not determined in advance? Lol.
Certainly, if it isn't specified but it otherwise running back the rules from last year one would surmise it would be the same as last year as well. But we should be sure.

61-62 Wilt Chamberlain

@Elizah Huge

Did I do that right?

You made one big mistake. 65-68 was peak Wilt. Probably the best peak years in NBA history. Ring, MVP, assist leader, rebound leader. His all-around game was much improved over the 1960s. Developed an elite passing game. He was an unrefined dominant freak athlete in the early 60s. Didn't make the finals until 64. 62 team was above avg in 62,
