I see Howard taking Miles & Bell minutes rather than Hayward and Burks minutes.
as mentioned earlier, its a low risk high reward signing.
What a concept--young players need time on the floor. This hinders our future in two ways, imo.
1. It takes away playing time from Hayward and Burks, setting back their development. You can sell that crap all you want about having a "mentor", but imo getting playing time is much more beneficial to one's development than a has-been mentor.
Isn't Dunleavy iffy on defense and equally aged overall (and more expensive at $7.5 million)?Still totally confused why Dunleavy signed that deal with the Bucks. Either the Jazz didn't reach out or Dunleavy has reasons beyond basketball and the location of the team (Milwaukee is a bit ****ty).
I'm glad to see the team put upside (for the price) before character. We are really going after those character guys this off season...
Maybe Howard returns to 75% of his old self and the Jazz are terrible. Could probably get a thing or two for the future for him. I'm going to add that as a reason to like.
Good signing that fills a need. You "hope the jazz are terrible" fans got no sense at all.
Josh Howard sans headband eh?
2012's a good draft. Then we can start winning.
