Think you're cluing in late here. Jazz aren't trying to trade for Durant. But they may be trying to get value for Mitchell.
I still think it's a strong net positive for the Jazz. But if Mitchell is already gone, I think there's less incentive to go get Ayton and I doubt Ayton chooses UTA in that scenario.
I'm more referring to the random internet stranger who said Mitchell demanded a trade and listed the Heat as his preferred destination.

Multiple people have reported that too. In all likelihood, Mitchell has asked for a trade, he named Miami and NYK as his two preferred teams, and those teams have already been putting trade packages together for at least a week. Ainge appears to be taking trade calls on Mitchell before he's even had one practice with the new coach.
Besides, I'm looking at multiple sources on everything trying to get a picture. When it all lines up from multiple sources, then it makes sense.

Not necessarily. Ainge is in on the BRK/PHX discussions, but also in discussions with the Knicks and Heat. Probably the Heat package isn't going to be good enough though.
Keep in mind that Ferguson is basing this off of a report from some dude with 40 followers or whatever and some random internet stranger on another sports forum.

I'm pretty sure it was Fat Joe (a famous rapper out of NYK who is close to Mitchell) that said Mitchell wants to be in Miami.
