If you are in the NBA trenches enough to know what's going on, you aren't taking this weekend off. Better information at Best Buy.Dame is going to sign another deal with the Blazers. He's recruiting KD.
This is from the Heat dude:
No words of encouragement from my boy right now. Gonna wait until he gets back in the trenches and see if he gets more positive news Tyesday. He said we have a better chance at Spida but Utah will wait until Brooklyn makes their move and gage asking price from there. Were literally 4th on the Durant lead based on package. Durant screwed all the plans Miami had already planned, they pivoted from the bird in hand.
I mean it just depends but after seeing the Thunder get SGA/significant draft picks and the Pelicans getting Ingram/significant draft picks I'd imagine that's the baseline for what they'd want.Yes, but draft capital is the most valuable thing to most GM's. It's a universal currency where as specific players have more subjective value.
It's a shock to everyone that the Wolves valued McDaniels so highly that they inserted two more first instead of including him.
It’s a long shot, but maybe Utah thinks they can use the war chest acquired in the Rudy deal to entice Portland into a full rebuild.I don't see how the Jazz would acquire Dame without giving up Mitchell, unless you think they'd take the filler and picks from Minnesota.
Don't shoot the messenger. If you are in the NBA trenches enough to know what's going on, you aren't taking this weekend off. Better information at Best Buy.
I don't think he's asking out after they got Grant, I think his loyalty post of the Brooklyn bridge was moreso indicating he wants Durant in Portland.I love Damian Lillard like the rest of you, but his game is going to fall off a cliff in 2-3 years. I wouldn't give up a load of assets for him.
I've been a proponent of trade both if you're rebuilding.Seems some Mitchell fans are a bit bent out of shape that Gobert was traded for future draft capital rather than win now pieces. I believe the writing is on the wall that Mitchell is next.
I agree. Too smallThis is very interesting and would fit the type of monster move Ryan Smith wants to pull off.
Does a big 3 of Mitchell, Dame, and Ayton put us near the top in the west? I worry that’s still too small of a backcourt.
Same - and I’m thrilled that it looks like it’s going to happen. They should get whatever they can for Mitchell, Bogy and Conley… and then take on some of these depressed value guys for further draft capital and see if we can’t rehab their value.I've been a proponent of trade both if you're rebuilding.
The "Flex" guy has been pushing Mitchell to Brooklyn, Durant to Phoenix, and Ayton to Utah.So we'd be sending Bojan and 2 picks for Ayton?

This guy knows less than me, and I know nothing.
It also amazes me how these "insiders" don't even understand basic NBA trade rules like the fact Ben/Don can't be on the same team. The "Flex" guy has been pushing Mitchell to Brooklyn, Durant to Phoenix, and Ayton to Utah.
Personally, I don't think Ainge is that dumb.
This deal is against the rule because Nets can't have DM and Simmons's contract at the same timeThe "Flex" guy has been pushing Mitchell to Brooklyn, Durant to Phoenix, and Ayton to Utah.
