I’d prefer trading him prior to the draft next year if that’s the direction they want to go. I guess if they decide to tear it all down and start over, that’s fine - as long as they get a haul for they players while they can. Kinda wish they’d have just started this process last offseason.Andy Larsen and Tim MacMahon were both on ESPN 700 today and neither one of them seem to be buying what the Jazz are selling about re-tooling around Donovan. They both think he'll end up being traded. Tim said every move they've made this offseason points to a re-build not a re-tooling. Andy say's they may trade him this summer or may end up keeping him until the trade deadline.

Have to think that everyone - Gobert, Mitchell, Royce, Bogey, Clarkson (reigning 6th man of the year) and a healthy Jingles (6th man runner up) all would’ve had more value last year.
If they’re in rebuild mode, they probably don’t sign Conley and Gay. They almost certainly don’t attach a 1st round pick to move off Favors either.
Why don't we agree to look at the odds after the roster is set. You okay with that.I see you are already working on your excuse list for next year.

Clarkson is probably the only player other then don and Rudy that didn’t ding his value. Bogdanovic also has value as an expiring guy that can give you 16-20 ppgI don't really think Rudy or Donovan lost any value...I mean just look at the haul we got for Rudy. Conley, Ingles, and Clarkson without a doubt had significantly higher value last offseason.
Wolves are in 8th despite trading for the goatBut, ALL TIME?!?!
Will add that I’d guess Bev, Beasley, and Bogey may be on their way somewhere else based on Tim’s comments.Andy Larsen and Tim MacMahon were both on ESPN 700 today and neither one of them seem to be buying what the Jazz are selling about re-tooling around Donovan. Or it’s just two days when obviously some activity will happen. That's when Ayton would be able to sign a new deal and be included in a trade. I see where you're going...
Or the guy that got basically 5 1sts for Rudy and a first for Royce is holding out for something more than just an expiring. They may have had a deal with the clips before Wall went there… just gotta let Danny work.If Conley isn’t getting moved, it has to be that his contract is seen as negative value that we’d have to attach picks to. Better to rehab his value and flip him to a contender at the deadline if that is the case.
The Mavericks, Clippers, and Wizards have all reportedly shown interest. I think the trade market is basically frozen until teams can gauge the Durant situation. It sounds like Danny wanted to do a deal with Toronto until Minnesota came with their offer for Rudy.If Conley isn’t getting moved, it has to be that his contract is seen as negative value that we’d have to attach picks to. The Nets might value him enough to move Durant and Simmons.I don't see how DM can get to the Nets. Simmons value has hit such a low mark at this point, the Nets would have to really take a hit on trading him to another team to facilitate DM.
