Sure it does… Knicks rumored to want him for years… repped by CAA… now they have the right package and he’s available and they aren’t ponying up. I was mostly kidding… but he’s know what they were offering. Danny could go to him and say… man we’d love to get you to the place you’ve wanted to go… but they are offering way less than we got for Rudy… we can’t give you away.

This is more likely him applying public pressure in a passive/aggressive way.

That’s likely it… but that happens everywhere. This is him turning the narrative to “I want out cuz y’all are haters”. Which is fine… whatever he needs.

Oh that stuff is dumb… lots of dudes get that when they don’t come out with absolute commitment to their franchise. We’ve showered him with love… if he thinks the NY fans will love him unconditionally he will find out how good it really was here.

At least there he'll be criticized for his play on the court instead of his social life or another player failing.

That’s be great but we aren’t the ones trading KD. Bridges is great but if we are rebuilding what are we doing with Bridges the next few years? Nets want players over picks per Windy… Bridges/Ayton/Don is a decent start.

I don't think Miami and NY not wanting to pay Ainge's price for Donovan is "tearing down" Donovan.

He's definitely putting something out there is a vague way. One of my least favorite parts of how he communicates.

Bridges becomes the man and our rebuild is only 2-3 years.

Sure… they won’t have any irrational fans that will wonder if he’s partying too much and not working enough… I’m sure they will be totally fair with him. All of a sudden he’s this martyr… he’s a great dude. If he had came out and said he’s committed to us or acted like he’s a part of the team at all I’m fairly sure the noise around who he hangs with would be very quiet.

If he’s talking about the fans then he is just looking for excuses to justify wanting out. You can go look at any other players Twitter and you will find the same stuff.
