If there's one thing I disagree with in this draft is that round 1-6 is rewarded to the guys who got the first picks at the beginning. The guys who got the first picks in the draft get to have the BPA again in the 2nd half of the draft, which kind of makes them OP. I think it should've been the bottom picks get the first picks in the 2nd half of the draft.

It happend that way because of the modified snake draft thing we did

I think if we are being so intentional about eras, and there are 5 eras, and every team has to have 10 players then all of us should have to have 2 players from each era.

I was under the impression we are running a sim.
This needs to be in one of the OPs, whatever it is that we're doing. Fundamentally changes how one should approach team building.

Which sim? Do they take season into account? It has to be compatible with the structure of the competition.

And how does the sim do player minutes? Bench and starters play the same minutes? Do we have to structure them?

I'm happy to take specific directive from @Thee Idiotic Minivan K on how we're determining winners but I kinda need that to move forward.

If we're doing a sim or sims and voting, then we need to have a clear-cut set of rules to determine a winner. If you're running one sim and a vote, you can have the results disagree, then what? I had mentioned running two sims and whichever team wins two of three of voting/sim 1/sim 2, but then we gotta figure out which sims (maybe this has occurred).

Another idea is that any vote that one team gets a 2/3 majority of votes bypasses the sims.

I personally think voting works alright and is simple enough. Sims sound like they might provide some quantitative foundation that could be useful, but balancing the benefits of sims vs. votes is sticky.

Whoever drafted first overall has the last pick in both the 2nd and 3rd rounds.
