Arrested Development: 10 episode miniseries then a movie

Love the show. There are not many shows that literally get me to laugh out loud, but AD is one of them. I'm very excited about the upcoming revival. Hopefully they do a better job than the Scrubs revival a few years ago (awful).

The "laugh-per-minute" ratio is amazing. So many layered jokes that it really requires repeated viewing to comprehend it all.
 
The only show I laughed at as hard as AD has been Breaking Bad. That's some funny **** right there.
 
Excellent news! This show is flat out hilarious. I can't believe it was cancelled after such a short run in the 1st place.
 
The problem is it is a niche show. The brand of humor attracts a certain kind of audience that tends to be smaller than mainstream mindless audiences laughing at things like the endless meaningless sexual exploits of Rachel, Joey, Ross, Maryann, Ginger or whoever the **** the "Friends" were.

Just when sitcoms seemed like they were moving in a better direction shows like "Three and a 1/2 Men" drug us back into late 90's humor.
 
It's this simple: AD is the best sitcom I've ever had the privilage to watch. It just hits on every level. Extremely pleased about the news of it's return.
