The Jazz Notes account has been wrong on so much stuff it’s hilarious then they reach hard as **** to "verify or confirm" their reports.

Tony is plugged in and has reported there has been talks been the Jazz/Lakers which is definitely true I’m sure. The hard part is closing the deal which is what we are all waiting on.

I have a very hard time believing Lakers roll with Westbrook to start the season.
 
My story... they were going to make the trade but then Russ was like "see yall at the facility tomorrow". So they wait a day. They pushed the Bev trade by a day to observe Kobe day 8/24... its their MO.
 
I’ll reiterate that the Beverley deal was underwhelming.

Alternate theory... Westbrook knows he is on the way out and is trying to play nice in a last attempt to stick in LA.

Why Russ playing along doe? I think Russ knows if they trade him he gets cut and he may be in Carmelo purgatory.

Haha cool, run out RW, its worth the entertainment alone and we will find homes for our guys. Again, they need us more than we need them.....
 
Honestly, if I'm the Lakers I would probably just stand pat. Bogey/Beasley/Clarkson etc would really help them, but enough to drop 2 picks for some rentals? This is the NBA, only one thing matters. They aren't a championship team with or without the trade.

If they want to make a move, the Jazz have the best move. But it's probably better for them to do nothing.
