Trade Rumors Involving the Jazz

I used to before it became legal in AZ but have had some sketchy experiences with them.
Its on the ballot in CA I believe... I've seen like 100 ads for/against it lately. My guess is its legal soon.

Not in CA. I use off-shore betting sites when I do.
I have used BetOnlline and My Bookie. BetOnline tends to give better odds and payouts, My Bookie is a solid interface and allows for all kinds of crazy parlays and such. I have taken money out of both, and the transfers were secure and speedy. If I picked one it would probably be My Bookie. Their customer service is top notch too.

Saint Cy, I always applaud when someone admits they may be mistaken. You did that, it is honorable, so I tip my hat.

On ESPN700 Andy Larsen said just because the Jazz are telling people that they aren't going to trade Clarkson, it doesn't mean that they won't. He compared it to them saying right after the season that they were going to keep Rudy and Don, then they traded Rudy. Then they said that they were for sure keeping Don and going to build around him, then they traded him. He said he thinks if someone offered an unprotected first, that would for sure get it done. Sounds like they shopped him before the trade deadline last season, and a little bit earlier this summer and just didn't receive a lot of interest from other teams. Basically, it sounds like they won't move him just to move him, but if the right deal comes along they won't hesitate at all to pull the trigger.

The Jazz are like Vladimir Putin right now. Whatever they say publically, the opposite is true.

Thanks... I don't think he's worth a first, so I doubt he gets moved. I think what this says is they aren't selling those parts off for second round picks and the ability to have cap space. I think they need to clear one guard to help balance the roster and open up some dev time... but if they want to wait and see if someone gets wild for JC then go for it I guess. JC's contract size may make him appealing at some point... at best I think he gets a protected first but I'd be surprised.

I don't think Mike has any great trade prospects so I'd probably work real hard to sell him on a bench role if I was the Jazz.

Breaking news: Jazz would trade Clarkson for an unprotected 1st

@andylarsen with the Woj bomb.

man i hate seeing Bojan in a Pistons jersey Guy deserved a lot better
It may have been awkward... but I have a hard time thinking if we'd waited a few days that maybe phoenix ponies up a first. At very least make the pistons send a couple seconds if they want a deal before camp. They want progress more than we do... so I think it would have been an easy sell.

Yeah, we shouldn’t be trading anyone just to trade them.

*See: Bogdanovic, Bojan.

Pistons trade Bojan at the deadline to Phoenix for their pick.

I agree about needing to move one more guard, I'm guessing there's a good chance Beasley gets moved at the deadline.

My thing with JC is I'm not sure he's the type of player you want around all these young guys. I get that he's a great guy and a good locker room presence and all that, but his play style could cause some of the young guys to pick up some bad habits, mainly his unwillingness to pass and his complete lack of effort defensively.

False... see Gay, Rudy

I kid. I would honestly trade JC for a couple seconds and an expiring contract. We don't have max cap space anymore unless we decline Beasley's option, JC declines his option and we waive Mike. Not that we will sign anyone but it'd be nice to shop in the market a bit.

Their last offer was so bad that the right call was probably to hang up and block their number. That team is going to crash and burn this year and their management knows it. No way they are giving up a real first.
