He has been injured.Just to inform everyone. Grimes (who was untouchable for the Knicks) has played a total of 0 minutes this year.
Ball movement has been excellent. A lot of unique actions and with Kessler out of the lineup they are running a lot more 5 out stuff. The thing that surprises me is how much space the Jazz's perimeter shooters have been getting. They had wide open looks a lot tonight, and I'm not sure why defenses are collapsing on our drivers like they are. Lauri had wide open looks. Beasley had wide open looks. Conley had wide open looks. Jordan had a couple. On and on. Jazz made 19 3s again tonight, and I'm not sure half of them were even contested.
because now we have actual good rim finishers that would draw defenders attention closer to the basket. The thing that surprises me is how much space the Jazz's perimeter shooters have been getting. Pelinka may not honor down payments but ms. Hearsky does.I like @Handlogten's Heros, too. Dude is ultra smart. His bball takes are top notch. Well, other than that down payment fiasco. We both agreed its all in fun.

remember teams going small on us to close the space for our shooters because they had no respect for our ability to finish inside?
now if they don't close out, it'd lead to easy buckets inside for guys like Lauri/vando/olynyk.
vando averaged 6 assists over the last two games simply because defenders had to come over to stop him at the rim, leaving one of our shooters wide open.
you shoot 2's so you can take better 3's.
during Quin's, opponents already knew that you were only looking to shoot 3's, which made it extremely easy to stop.
A month ago there were so many geniuses who wanted to trade him for Westbrook and some picks.Lauri is under contract for three years at a super affordable rate. One could argue he might have the best contract in the NBA right now.
Dude is going nowhere.
+1 I'm happy for JC. He improve a lot this year, take very fews bad shoot and show great leadership. Hope they exend him.I’m sooooo happy for Clarkson, on the bench all these years and not finishing games, now he’s starting and finishing games, and rewarding the org for it. I can’t remember the last time I watched him have that bad a shooting night and it didn’t hurt the team. He literally shot 3-14 and was +14. Dude is changing his game and playing hard on both ends. His shot was off so he goes out and gets 7 boards and 7 assists. We saw flashes last year, but he’s putting it together this year.
He looked like AK on that play.Good lord. If Lauri can become a good defender too? Hardy might be the best up-and-coming coach in the NBA.
Vando is even hitting the occasional 3. Not getting too excited yet, but there is plenty of room for growth there.I believe both Vando and Sexton will get a decent amount better as the season goes on.
Plus ochai and kessler being rookies we should expect improvement.
Playoffs are real bros.
