Well now we are doing some serious moving of goal posts….Notice only 2 of those you listed as examples, have ever been the main reason their team won a championship.

I get it, I just don't see it so far, with most of the currently lottery projected options, beyond normal NBA futures. At least that may or may not become worth paying a second contract.
If there are 10 players from this draft that turn into above average starters, that would mean the draft is in fact insane, if that proves true.
Me saying there are maybe 3 that become superstars probably just means my opinion on "what is a superstar" is different from some other peoples. or just that it is rare that 1 emerges from each draft anymore without years of developing.

How about we add to that list then if that is your criteria.
Draymond Green
Klay Thompson
Paskal Siakam
Kyle Lowry
Giannis
Jrue
Kris Middleton
You don't see it so far after 1 or 2 games. You have to be kidding me. At least wait 10 to 15 games before making that kind of statement. I bet you haven't even watched most of these guys play.

Well of course you can.I think it's possible to make an initial assessment on players after watching just a few games. You can always change that assessment from there. Guys put Wemby and Scoot at the top of their boards after just a couple exhibition games.
,2nd round at besrHe clearly isn't the generational next KD that he looked like at 15 years old but that doesn't mean he can't be a solid nba player. He is still very skilled offensively with a ton of room for improvement. At the end of the season we will see where he stands but my guess is he is viewed as a mid 1st rd prospect.
wait you thought I never watched any of these jackasses play prior to now? what the hell you smokin g? Nothing any of these college or gleague players do, in those leagues, changes anything for me on how they should be ranked on potential, and if it was not for the hype people like yourself give them, they are just prove it or lose it gamersYou don't see it so far after 1 or 2 games. your point is what exactly? My criteria matches NBA scouting departments not fanboy hype parade bsHow about we add to that list then if that is your criteria.

fair enough but you have to remember i am talking to people who wanted the Jazz in fact were praying the Jazz would be terrible this season, so they have been reading internet chat rooms about lottery projected players all summer and think they are scoutsWell now we are doing some serious moving of goal posts….
Truly confused but I’ll leave it here.fair enough but you have to remember i am talking to people who wanted the Jazz in fact were praying the Jazz would be terrible this season, so they have been reading internet chat rooms about lottery projected players all summer and think they are scouts
The point is exactly what you both missed. Superstars are players that dominate the league leading their teams to titles. in his list Giannis is the only one of them that did that. The rest were just there for the ride and are neither superstars nor are they champions because of them.Huh?
He used your exact criteria to disprove your point.
I ready some are comparing him to jaylen brown.Based on 2 minutes of highlights… I like Keynote George a lot… he’s Donovan Mitchell with Chris Paul playmaking (I’m only doing superstar comps or busts for ***** and giggles this year… get on board with the hyperbole).
Kinda thiccish bulldog body with shooting creation and supposedly good defense. Think he’s in my top 5 (which will consist of 15 players this year… again hyperbole).
I would areee. Bates is a second rounder. Teams are not going to give guaranteed money with his history.,2nd round at besr
Don’t see that at all… and I watched multiple 2 minute YouTube’s… so I’m kind of an expert.I ready some are comparing him to jaylen brown.
No one isI ready some are comparing him to jaylen brown.
Is the goal to make bad post after bad post? There are tons of bona-fide superstars that don't win a title. Every year we probably have 10 guys that are playing at a superstar level but only one team can win a title. That doesn't mean those other guys aren't bona-fide superstars. Please stop making stupid posts and dumbing down the board. We already have Cy for that. The point is exactly what you both missed. Just to clarify I understand you are like most people that think a bonafide superstar does not have to carry his team to a championship, and that I am in the minority in that regard. Suggesting my post are bad, is only more proof of you not understanding the bar I use for what is actually a superstar. There are plenty of likely superstars that have the goods but don't get it done ior just haven't I will give you that. Ja, Luka , Joker. Outside of those 3 who could still do it but haven't I can't think of anyone else I would consider a superstar in the NBA other than those who have lead their teams to rings. Is the goal to make bad post after bad post?
