More to the game than numbersSexton’s numbers are actually better than both Mike’s and JC’s. I just don’t get the hate.

It’s actually pretty crazy how efficient Sexton is. He doesn’t take a lot of shots and he averages a lot of points.
Good post. It is laughable how some posters keep going on and on about any one player they hated on in the past. They also make apologies for others they were higher on based on wingspan or leaping ability or some other stupid **** while said player keeps choking. Yes despite the progression of said player no matter who it is. It is almost as if these same persons will refuse to admit their own poor judgement by continuing to be poor at judging, as if sticking to their previous bad takes will make the player go away or not perform like they have been. -Obviously in this case far better than said posters will admit is true, because of their need to be right about EVERYTHING. Yet proving that weakness is strongest in denialIn the 8 games Conley has missed JC has averaged 5.1 assists per game... slightly over his average for the year. I'm just not sure there is any data to backup this whole narrative some are pushing about Sexton. The net rating with Collin and the starters is effing awesome.
It might be time to lay down the torches and pitchforks even if he isn't your cup of tea.
says the man whos bible quote talks about hating me without reason. Did you post that for Sexton? you clearly hate him without reason? smhMore to the game than numbers
I dislike Sexton because he is a small scoring guard. Not because he is a bad small scoring guard.says the man whos bible quote talks about hating me without reason. Did you post that for Sexton? you clearly hate him without reason? smh
I like what you did there.Jazz record without Conley: 3 wins, 6 losses.
Whoa

With the way our offense has been humming all season, Sexton, as a starting PG, gets 5 assists in 30 minutes just by giving the ball up now and then. You KNOW this.In the 8 games Conley has missed JC has averaged 5.1 assists per

He's not setting guys up.
Anyway, I'm glad he's been playing pretty well. His irrationally confident 1-on-2 attacks are a useful wrinkle in some situations, but they can never be anything we build our offense around. He needs a ton of time and space for those, pushing everyone else to the perimeter, far away from rebounding positions. Just not an efficient way to score in the modern NBA.
This stuff is exactly what Sexton wants to do and what he's always done. And it's never lead to W's when allowed to get out of hand.
He's a microwave scorer off the bench who's trying hard to learn the basics of NBA pg play. Time will tell if he succeeds.
Tell me you have no counter arguments without telling me.You have got to be trolling. You really can’t be this stupid.

#1 I was talking about JC getting 5 per game. Just like he was with Conley. With the way our offense has been humming all season, Sexton, as a starting PG, gets 5 assists in 30 minutes just by giving the ball up now and then. You KNOW this.

yet you continually try to pound home, how he is nothing more than a scorer, not a point guard can't be more than a high level backup bla lala blah blah despite the increased awareness, desire to be better in that regard, and the execution said role when in it, so far this season, has been far more than you or your sideshow burners will acknowledge. You are stuck in the past on this guy and too blind to see itI dislike Sexton because he is a small scoring guard. Not because he is a bad small scoring guard.
u and saint nothing should go start a LLC for the blindTell me you have no counter arguments without telling me.

Sexton isn’t "setting guys up" though.
The argument was that his assists were mostly cheap assists and he wasn't setting anyone up... and its not true. The "look Sexton has made passes before" is the funniest thing.
Wow, I never knew a NBA player could do that. Crazy.
You could put together a passing reel that makes Al Jefferson look nice too.
Where/How do you find these videos? My favorite Sexton play so far this year is a nash dribble out of a crowd and then a perfect pass to a cutting Lauri for a dunk. I thought it showed a ton of growth/development from Sexton. I believe it was against the Clippers. I can't seem to find a highlight video of it though.
Thanks! It was actually against the Bulls!
