i think most expect that. hence calling my shot now.Funnily enough I think he’s the most likely to get traded.

what can we get for him? Any ideas who might be willing to send back enough value, given league parity and the play in thing, that getting anything worth moving him has legs anyway?Trading Clarkson now would be a priority to me. At 31 years old this summer, he doesn’t fit our rebuild timeline. And he’s a 6th man type of player in a contender team, and we already have a similar younger guard in Sexton. Plus JC may well be eyeing free agency anyway because of his age - makes sense for him to want to play for a team that has a better chance to win a championship.
I really want Mike mentoring our PG of the future, so value has to be good.what can we get for him? Any ideas who might be willing to send back enough value, given league parity and the play in thing, that getting anything worth moving him has legs anyway?
I am kind of leaning towards, they don't get enough of an offer until right before the deadline, to justify moving him. But there are certainly a few teams that should have shown interest by now.
I would ascribe their opinon in the front office's here, to be one where JC is worth a mid first, provided the Jazz take back a different over 25 vet that is either hurt or not that good anymore and becomes our tank commander.
Shopping Mike should yeild them a couple of smaller contract players otherwise I am not trading him.
Still a weird trade. I guess we'd preserve the asset cuz DFS in under contract and JC is a FA.They are in win now so JC? Sort of like a budget version of Jalen Brunson..
I think more contender level teams might see Beasley as the more win now choice unless they have injuries like the SunsI really want Mike mentoring our PG of the future, so value has to be good.
For JC, it depends on how the supposed contract discussions went (which JC denied he even had).. but if we trade him he is the best win now piece we are willing to give up.
Depends with Mike. If he is healthy finishing the year his expiring contract has value just as an expiring. It might fetch a greater return this summer. I also don't think the offers are all that great tbh. Would not be surprised to see Mike finish his deal out here.Beasley and Vando are two guys that I think are overvalued around the league right now, which makes it good timing to trade them....Vando has a chance to get better, I think Beasley is who he is but I wouldn't mind trading both.
Last chance to move Conley at any semblance of value as well.
Not totally crazy. Our FO been looking for forwards with more offense... so best case is he fits with Lauri and Kessler and he can at least temporarily be the 4 who can defend 3 and worst case is we ship him elsewhere later.Still a weird trade. Its just a weird one.

His contract is very movable and he might thrive in a system with more ball sharing.
I can see that. Beasley is not a self-creator though so he needs to be fed... and JC is in the new "clutch player ladder" which is a good marketing speech.I think more contender level teams might see Beasley as the more win now choice unless they have injuries like the Suns
Jazz are going to get attached to every trade rumor because everyone assumes the Jazz are going to be sellersDorian Finney Smith is almost 30, trading for him seems like a win now move. Definitely not the trade rumor I expected to see this morning.
DFS is not a forward with more offense. I think his contract is fine and movable so its a whatevs for me... just don't trade any picks for him. He's not some guy with an untapped offensive game though... if that is what you are hoping for I have really bad news for you. He's less offensively diverse than a guy like Royce for example. He's straight 3 and D.Not totally crazy. Agree on the others... I think their value has likely peaked... we don't have to move them of course but the window on them is now.
