Following potential 2012 draftees

Yea I did. I said in an earlier post that I need to start watching more Kentucky basketball. Every player has bad games. I think the kid is worthy of a lottery pick. He is better than CJ will every be.

K-G didn't have the bad game, I was referring to the Jazz.

I know the question wasn't for me, but I've been very cautious on both Jones and Miller. (desire/work ethic/make it happen)

I peeked in on that game and Quincy Miller had a couple plays that reminded me of Josh Howard..... but it seemed closer to the older version of Josh Howard.

I'd rather us not get Davis. He doesn't look like a sure thing as a pro. Drummond isn't either I guess, but his body makes him a sure contributor. I would take Barnes over any SF just because I feel he is the best offensive one of the group, and is also a pretty good defender.

Gilchrist is good, I just don't see him scoring well without an elite PG ala Shawn Marion.

Agreed on Drummond and Davis.

Idk exactly what to think about KG's offensive ability, but I'll say this: Barnes is overrated offensively. Not sure who I would take at this point.

Tony Wroten Jr! Tony Wroten Jr! This kid is an excellent passer. Hopefully he declares for the 2012 draft. Him and Gilchrist would make me happy.

PG: Wroten/Watson
SG: Burks/Gilchrist
SF: Hayward/Evans
PF: Favors/Millsap
C: Jefferson/Kanter

I haven't been sold on QMiller all year but PJIII is confusing now too. Seems to very rarely take over games.

Tony Wroten is an immense talent but is still playing way out of control. Probably worth the shot, but he needs a coach that can kick his *** and have him listen.

Not seeing what PKM is talking about in Miller at all. He has a tendency to get lost in the offense, but I think it's more of finding where he fits in than not caring/not trying. He takes the ball hard to the rim and draws contact well. He passes and rebounds well also.

I completely disagree. I've watched him a few times this season and he seems to just be 1/5 guys on the court for his team the majority of the time. For his size and talent level that tells you a lot. He's one of the most underwhelming of the highly touted freshman class this season, IMO.

Well he was just the best player on Baylor for their biggest game of the season for what it's worth.

From what I can tell, Baylor plays a ton of guys, taking advantage of their depth rather than their top talent. That really takes away from Miller's minutes.

12pts 6rbds

25 minutes .. pretty average for starters on the best teams.

I like QMiller, just sharing what I perceive to be the concerns to watch for ... along with all the good.

Not sure if that was stated as an insult, but it was a low scoring defensive game. Also, I actually watched the game and he gave good effort the whole time and makes very heady plays. He needs to get more minutes.
