If we could find a way to get Kyrie without giving up Lauri or Kessler, I’d do it in a heartbeat. Ideally keep Agbaji too. That’s a nice lineup.
Well, @YoungJefe's trade with some tweaks. We give BKN their rights to the 2023 swap/pick back, but the Jazz get a couple of swaps from the Lakers on top of their 2 FRP. Lakers get a 2nd'r from us.
Who else can bolster a Nets/Lakers trade like the Jazz can?
We can provide both long-term and win now pieces to the Nets to ease the blow of losing Kyrie, and give the Lakers a win now piece they would be in the driver's seat to re-sign that makes giving up both picks more reasonable.
Also wasnt there a Haynes report that Utah touched base about Russ recently? Things could be falling into place.

I could see a low key Nets play being one like sending Irving to Dallas for Dinwidde, a Dallas protected future, and Beasley from us. We get DFS and thats it.
But Irving to LAL does seem like karma even though it is highly unlikely.
Not bad. That could be a last resort type of trade for the Nets if they cant workout a Lakers deal.

They apparently offered him an extension with a bunch of conditions / stipulations, they couldn't agree to a new deal and he asked them to trade him.
I could see Brooklyn being interested in Clarkson or Sexton for sure. We are the team that can grease the wheels the best.

If we help both the Lakers and the nets in this trade I will want the better of the nets Phillys pick and the picks from the Lakers. If we send out all that young talent to the nets.
This would also help push the wolves pick down as the Lakers would climb in the playoff picture.

I could see them being interested in Conley, Sexton, Clarkson, Beasley, Vanderbilt, and/or Olynyk.
This Kyrie trade request along with Chris Haynes reporting that we were discussing a Westbrook trade aligns perfectly in our favor.
It can't be a coincidence that two dead conversations (LAL-UTA trade and Kyrie-LAL trade) comeback to life on the same day.....right?......please?
