they can but their salaries can't be aggregated so its harder.
 
I'm assuming the Nets pursuit of FVV will ramp things up in the PG market. If you miss on him and Conley you're screwed.

Nah, I think even the best of these guys (Woj and Shams) are mostly just regurgitating what teams/agents want to give them. Trade is now official with no third team and the percentage drops once again.

How often do you think they are sending out info and the team says "Ah **** there is a leak in the building"? And if there is a deal being discussed do those kind of tweets kill the deal at that point? I just feel like there is never a trade where we are getting the details and offers in semi-real time and then the deal actually goes through. Anytime we hear the framework the deal seems to not actually happen, or it is already too late.

When the Gobert trade went down, suddenly Tony Jones had thousands of words of every single tiny detail the Jazz had been discussing for weeks. He never once mentioned any of it leading up to the deal, even though trade speculation tweets by him were rampant. Do we think he knows all of this and keeps it from us? While deliberately throwing us off or just tweeting random trade thoughts he knows are wrong? Or after the deal do the Jazz give him a ton of info about it to go write his story?

I am not claiming to know any of the answers to these questions btw. Really curious how it happens and just putting together the experience as a fan who just follows tweets for this stuff. I never feel informed about the actual going ons until the deal is done.

He's more of a SF than PF and theoretically would fit better than Vando. He's also a better defender (I think).
 
A three team deal where we send Vando to Indiana for the Houston second round pick they own and then route that to Charlotte for McDaniels gets us a little more breathing room under the tax if we do a trade with LA that requires us to take more salary.

We could also route Boston and seconds to Charlotte if we like McDaniels more and did a Clips Conley deal.
 
I think if I was DA I'd be asking both LA teams for final offers on Conley by tomorrow... would let em know we have too many deals to do so need to make some decisions. If the offers suck I go do the Beasley/Vando deals I like best so you don't miss out on them.
